I See That There Is No Sticky For The PS3 Console Vs XBOX 360 Console. Which Supprises Me Because Most People Like To Argue About This The Most... I See There Is A Sticky For Their Games Though.

So Which Console Do You Guys Think Is Best....And Why?

My Opinion On Both:

XBOX 360 - Better Marketplace, Better Online Gaming And A More Comfortable Joypad :)

PS3 - Blu-Ray :D, Free Online Gaming, Can Replace HDD with any size SATA, rather than 20GB or 120Gb for XBOX, Looks - I personally think it looks good being Glossy Black :D.

PRICE - People say PS3 is too expensive, PLEASE bear in mind it has a built in Blu-Ray player...

So what do you guys think?

360 is a gaming power house. it really rocks. the PS3 has not impressed me to the level of my 360 at this point but GT5 is looking to take the crown. I have to say though the 360 produces more consistant quality graphics at more consistant frame rates. But the PS3 has a clearity in its games only BluRay can afford. (true)

and how do you know Im not playing?

It's a hard one to compare both consoles, you've got to sort through truck loads of fanboyness and biastd crap to find accurate details. In terms of graphics Both are pretty close, most multiplats are identical between the two. PS3 has the edge on CPU power with the cell, leading to better physics simulation. 360 has the edge on RAM bandwidth meaning shorter load times for levels ETC. Really there's not that big a difference no matter what the fanboys say

good point, looks like their game plan for the HD format is snookered. Maybe they'll move their next console to blu ray(Yeah right) or develop a new format. At any rate the whole HD era for films hasn't really taken on that well yet so it shouldn't matter all that much. That's my guess anyway

I think they might have to do something a bit sooner than that though... Personally i'd rather pay an extra £10 to get a DVD in HD... But i suppose we'll find out soon. Haha It's not all good though because my bro just bough a HD drive for his 360 :S

ouch , bad purchase there eh? Well I'll maybe start buying blu-ray now. I've got the equipment anyway. My TV needs a workout. The only Blu-ray I have is casino royale and only because it was a freebie

Fanboy fog aside, I think the 360 is where it's at this year, and (maybe) next year the PS3 could be the best bet.

Errr...True...Ish... Xbox is known for its ring of death... but you can't base an arguement solely on that fact.

All consoles can break anyway 360 is just more regular in it's breakage. At least you can send it back. I couldn't do that when my custom built PC exploded!!!

Ya just can't dude. 360 Is indeed known for RROD but let's face it, not every console suffers from that. I've got friends who still have launch 360s that work fine. Don't just read forums and take everything fanboys say as read cos(newsflash) it aint :D

Because a 16% breakdown rate may be quite bad, but Microsoft will take the xbox back to repair it for you, they spent $1billion on repairs. Also they made the warrently valid for 3 years instead of 1.

I've also had my xbox for 2 years and i've had no problems what so ever. :D

I bought a PS3 a week ago. I bought it for its blu-ray player. I have owned a 360 for a little over two years. I had to send it in to microsoft because of the "red ring of death" and have not had problems since. That said... I prefer my 360 to my PS3. The 360 Marketplace is much faster than the Playstation Store, 360 games seem to have better HD video output (360 games have been outputting at 720p/1080i/1080p compared to PS3 games which, as far as I can tell (I've only checked the boxes of a couple games including UT3... a game I will buy for the 360), halff only run at 720p. Then there is the PS3 internet browser, which again was a reason I bought the my PS3. It causes the system to freeze every other minute. These are only a few reasons why I prefer my 360 to my PS3 and why I will buy most games (except when they are PS3 excluve games) for the 360.

Here is what i have to say, I for one like both XBOX360 and PS3. The main reason is because, they both have their ups and downs, no one can tell me the PS3 is better than a 360, no one can tell me that 360 is better than PS3. I own both systems and my 360 hasn't red ringed, my PS3 has no problems, I bought a PS3 before the 360, I got my 360 for free, someone bought me it, and it is worth it.

Now games wise. 360 Takes the cake, the 360 has so many exclusives, the games I have for it are, Gears of war, Gears of war 2, Hour of victory(terrible game) and Fear Files.

I like the games on my PS3 more than my 360, so with ps3 i got, Metal gear solid 4 a game that destroys anything on the 360, Devil May Cry 4 Resistance fall of man, Resistance 2, and little big planet.

Graphics wise, PS3 has better graphics in my opinion.

The battery in the 360 lasts longer than PS3's, but the battery in the 360 is real battery where is the ps3 must use a good battery for it to last forever.

All and all both of them are great systems I have psn but not XBL mainly because it costs money, where PSN doesn't. Here is one thing, the 360 and PS3 Own the Wii.

very true, MS stood by thier product so I can't complain too hard. I bought my PS3 when my 360 went it for repairs, i just wish i wouldve beaten uncharted, resistance, and ratchet before my xbox came back and all these games got released cus I'm swamped. It wouldve been nice if the 360 wouldve broken down in March when nothing was out.

ps3 is the best as its free online, more reliable, better looking, built in blu ray and harddrive. i own both consoles so i can honestly say wghich one is better. dont say one is better than the other unless you own both. p.s the pc sucks compared to the ps3 and xbox and why is pretty self explanitory. i will admit i love the 360 and there are some features that are better than the ps3 but i still perfere the ps3.

360 has more games I want. As for the price, expensiveness and value for money are 2 different things.

I view my 360 as my primary system. Why? Better games, many of which are exclusive. And when you do buy a multiplat with online components, LIVE is an infinately better way to play with your friends, most of whom have 360s. In fact, I don't have any friends with PS3s. Both my 360 and PS3 had hardware failures, so the '360 reliability' argument isn't a factor. And with Netflix streaming, I practically never watch cable anymore. So yeah, the 360 is the king of my living room regarding for games. Now if you want to talk movies, I do prefer the PS3's superior DVD upscaling, and when I rent BluRays (through Netflix lol) that's a great thing. Don't get me wrong... I've enjoyed many of the PS3 exclusives, and I think the downloadable PSN games are better on average than what's offered on the 360, but in terms of feature length games, I've had more happy memories on my 360, both on and offline.

I own both. Enjoy them both heavily.

PS3 exclusives look better than any 360 exclusives by a longshot whereas multiplat games seem to either be equal or have the 360 version look a bit better.

I enjoy both's online alot. Can't wait to try Home.

you must have a bad internet connection or something. my internet browser is very fast, and i own many PS3 games which run and full 1080p. i also have a 360. my fourth to be precise, im getting pretty tired of it showing me that red ring so i hardly play it anymore. PS3 breakdowns are 0.5%, far more reliable.
