No way on God's green Earth is the xbox 360 going to win the console war. Between the horrible failure rates, expensive online, and Microsoft's urge to charge money to anything that even looks at the xbox. The PS3 will surpass it in no time, and not to mention, the Wii has better games, so that blows your theory out of the water (it is all personal preference anyways).

It doesn't matter though, all the consoles are just fighting for 2nd place against the almighty PC. Who cares which console wins the console wars. Whoever gets into second place is just the first loser.

were is micrsoft first party? sony has twice as many first party. heck three times as many. i think the ps 3 will surpass them because you do realize that only 20% first party only realeased a ps 3 game. microsoft needs more first party to compete.GARRYTH

I have to agree in terms of 1st party but as for third party ....

360 is just a multiplat system for those who can't afford a ps3 and decent pc, it has no great exclusives and it's the only system to charge you for online gaming, supported a failing format, hardware is garbage, now you know why in europe and japan ps3 and wii does a hell lot better than 360

And every google link saying PS3 is outselling 360 in EU is using VGchartz as a source.

And every google link saying PS3 is outselling 360 in EU is using VGchartz as a source.

If you don't like what you see don't believe it, however they have been proven correct many times and sales are about right

in terms of only consoles, it's clear that the 360 is the best out right now.

Your right.. except that there's no thought involved. The PC wins by "default" every single gen.

This is how I think it will shape up in terms of the amount of AAA/AA for each console

1. Xbox 360

2. PlayStation 3

3. Wii

So far it has some better exclusives/ online now, but in no way does that makes it the future winner.

Simple put, PS3 will likely get discontinued.

Wii hype will likely die off, we'll know soon or later. Xbox 17.7 million sold units over Wii's 13.6M is pretty deep gap for Nintendo to cross and considering most of the people wanted Wii probably have it or pre-ordered it already I don't see there numbers increasing much.

Microsoft needs the appraisal they deserved because they manage to take away market share from Nintendo and SONY, there are a lot of gamers here who own Xbox 360 that hated MS and Xbox last generation, I know this because I was one of them. Microsoft manage to swoop up a old Nintendo and Sony fans on to there base. Nintendo on the other hand just got the non-gaming general public to buy their Wii's, and that's not much seeing how the general public only follow trends until it dies. Wii isn't looking so good in the future.
