I'm not entirely sure what "Forza 4" is supposed to be, or even if it bes at all. The impression I've gotten is that it's a rushed attempt to get pointless Kinect functionality into Forza 3. The only thing of value I can see coming out of whatever it is, is headtracking.
Forza is going down the road of releasing an extremely similar game every time. Though Gran Turismo can't even get released, even though every time I see it looks bloody amazing.

How can you make racing sequals that different? There's not much you can do besides adding a few new, minor features and new cars and tracks.

Forza 3 looks like an amazing game to me. If that's them rushing I wonder what they could produce if they took the same amount of time spent to create GT5.

??? many game sites and mags have speculated that 2011 would be the next seeing the pattern and all.

Personally though i like the Forza series i do hope Turn 10 take more time and dont 'rush' Forza4.. i dont want Forza4 to be a slightly updated Forza3 but something more..

Forza 3 is already better than what Gran Turismo 5. Forza 3 has more cars, more tracks, and its developed by car enthusiasts.

No but it adds to the experience and shows off the physics engine more. Also GT5 is confirmed to have weather and day/night transitions. Something Forza lacks, in addition the having some impressive looking models based on just screen shots and demos.
Show me some pics and videos of Forza 4 so we can compare...oh wait..

It probably has a lot to do with the fact we haven't seen a full GT release since the Forza series began. It also doesn't help that Polyphony has spent the last 5 years promising the moon. I personally think the Forza series has moved farther and faster than the GT series did before it came out. The essential formula of the GT series has remained unchanged up until GT5P... and probably will remain largely unchanged for GT5.
