The Xbox One supports up to 4K resolution for games. However, the highest resolution seen running on the Xbox One is 1080p (Forza 5, FIFA 14, NBA 2K14, Kinect Sports Rivals). It's unlikely we will see many 4K games this generation aside (maybe) from some smaller studio indie games.

Difference is Sony isn't forcing a dumb camera in every box.

So that's where the Xbone 720p's full HD went. No wonder it can't do 1080p, it all makes sense now.

True. For now. I'm sure Sony can and will make an improved camera before this generation is over.

But otherwise, for gaming, no. I really hope its more fun this time. And as far as looking stupid, flailing around? That is the fun in the party atmosphere.

Kinect is the future and in 5 years time when the digital world has evolved even more Sony will be left in the dust. The One will be a great compliment to my gaming PC as it will go in my living room for all my family to enjoy. It also has the best launch games and it looks to have the best 12 months ahead. Sony will no doubt deliver once again when it comes to exclusives but the PS4 just like the PS3 is the kind of console you can buy at the end of the gen as every Playstation has been a single player game machine. Microsoft have done so good that people cannot comprehend The Ones greatness.

lol, trust me guy, my opinion has nothing to do Sony. This is all about Microsoft. I've invested in several of their "visions" lately (Windows Phone 7,8, and Surface RT), and they've all had the same trend of failure & crappy PR just like their new baby (Xbone). So forgive me for seeing that obvious bullshit is bullshit. ;)

I had great experiences with the 1st Xbox & 360. It was great minus the failure rate. But that's another story.

I'm impressed with how Kinect is tied in with the system, the UI looks so smooth and the voice commands seem legit, I like how it can tell who is using the system, automatically adding a second person into the picture, also I was very impressed with the Skype motion tracking and focusing. 1080p video conferencing from my big screen will be pretty choice (if I get a one that is).

Anyone who has seen the recent UI demo can't deny how beneficial and intuitive the Kinect is going to be this generation. And that doesn't even include game play innovation to be seen as devs begin finding other uses in standard games and not just Kinect only ones

I want to play D4... Watched a hands on at Ign and I thought it looked really great... Couldnt believe the kinect was actually working right and that the game was made for kinect and DIDNT look like a complete cash in...
