It moves more air. It serves its purpose.
You guys cannot know how much I hate the Nyco intercooler, people use it as the fix for setting their 360 an inch deep in shag carpeting, then cry when it melts into the system.At best the intercooler pulls more environmental contaminents into the system and shortens it's lifespan.
Keep your 360 on a hard surface with a few inches of breathing space around it and you will never need it.

The intercooler work great at what it's designed to do - move air. How can anyone deny that more airflow over heat sensative electronics is a good thing?
