Xbox gets Insomniac PS3 gets Bungie

Just a Thought.Seems pretty cool that we're switching things around now. Microsoft still gets Halo, Sony still get Ratchet & Clank, and Resistance.

I like Insomniac but Sony definitely wins this round. Bungie is awesome.

Yep Bungie=one of the premier developers out there and in the next year or two cows will finally feel comfortable enough to admit that with Bungie games on the PS3.

Still, Bungi is developing games for Activision so all games will be MP. While Insominiac will still make some exclusives for Sony.

no i think its just 2 teams. one makes rachet and the other makes resistance. and they alternate years. this year SHOULD have been resistance 3 but i guess they put it on hold for this multiplat title.

Even if it's not a win for Sony it's still a loss for MS.

What are they thinking letting there best developer go? I don't expect MS to even be arounf for another 2 gens tbh, they're too short sighted.

343 industriles are taking over from Bungie. They did the firefight in ODSTI think. I now they're doing it for Reach at least ...

Insomniac isn't the shiny gold star that it was in my eyes back in the days. The original Spyro trilogy was one of my favorite platformers of that generation (yes more than Banjo Kazooie & even today) and the early Ratchet & Clank games were different and very amusing. The problem I found was that they pumped the Ratchet & Clank series out every year on the PS2 from 2002 - 2005. This generation, Future is awesome but too short.-_-

On the other hand Resistance is just... I don't know bland? The first one I let it pass since it was something new I saw from Insomniac and it was a launch title but Resistance 2 is just worse. I remember them saying that after signing their deal with EA Games, the development cycle for all their games will be longer now which is something they seriously need. Ratchet & Clank Future were very polished games but not the Resistance titles. I guess it was mainly because it was something new for them while they have been working on Ratchet & Clank for many years now.

Bungie on the other hand is a great developer. I'm no big fan of Halo but I really enjoyed Halo 2 and some what Halo 3. Also them signing a deal with ActiviSUN basically means that timed exclusive DLC's will be going towards the 360 and the 360 version will be superior seeing how it's became a cycle by now with ActiviSUN games and the 360 versions of said title.

In the end, it all balances out.:P Insomniac will still be making exclusive games for the PS3 & their development cycle will be bigger while Bungie's game will pretty much will be superior on the 360 with whatever deal Microsoft will cook up with ActiviSUN.

AAA? All of their games this generation have been AA and their new IP unlike Naughty Dog has met by quite a few disappointed faces. Sure then again R2 "is"AAAE on GS lol.

Naughty Dog doesn't have that many AAA games either but if you want my honest opinion, I'd say Sony Japan aka TEAM ICO. With games like Patapon, Shadow of the Collosus & such they are the best Sony developer in my eyes.

Also Polypony Digital are basically taking their time. Sometimes it's best to let a developer work at a game at their own leisure instead of making them hurry the hell up... Then again Too Human doesn't really prove my point..:P
