Well, it IS true that a lot of prepubescent boys think its "pwnage" to play the the 360 (quote taken from my 13 year old cousin)
But you could also say that people that play the Wii are kids, although I doubt a child could understand the controls or games..
and the ps3, well I don't know who plays that, and I know nothing about the games....Dont ask me.
Funny how people say that the Wii is kiddy and the x360 is for "adult" or "hardcore" gamers. I play xbox live all the time and RARELY encounter an adult playing any game oy any kind. So if the xbox is "mature" why are there only ever children playing it?SauceCaptain
What games are you playing?
By kids you mean little demons? Listen to the complains these Xbox Live player have posted on the 360 forums.....well as of now it is flooded with HALO 3333333!!!!

Mostly adults play PS3, but that's because of it's price.
The PS3 is the most popular for kids than the other two combined. Go to your local High School/ Middle School/ Elementary School and find out.

Ya because kids HATE "mature" video games......[/sarcasm]
You've failed to identify a trend that has dated back to mortal kombat.....kids love blood and violance. They dont' love to shave sheep or shove dentures in an old ladies mouth (yes i'm talking about wario ware).
Based on that concept alone, your post was a waste of time.

You are right.
GTA is a kids game. Not because it was intended to, but because that's the audience that it appeals to.
Want a mature game? Play Mario. Kids don't play Mario anymore.

Xbox Live is the domain of the anonymous, where children can finally call adults dirty names and snicker at how clever they were calling someone a n00b-stick.
That is the thrill kids get on Live, much like any place on the internet that allows for some degree of anonymity. It comes with the territory of having a great and unified online area, one which I greatly prefer over the Wii's online, hence why my Wii is no longer connected to the internet.
I know MS wants to have a great selection of family games to compete against the Wii and while I have seen some games (My 8 year old daughter plays my 360) Its nothing compare to nintendo I hope to see some good FUN family games come out so i can get them to play with my daughter then after she goes back to her mom its back to bioshock and Halo 3

Your comment is a little absurd considering it is not true. While I myself do encounter kids playing on LIVE it's not anywhere NEAR the level you speak of so to you I say overexaggerate much? Not to mention it wasn't the fact of WHO's playing but the types of games. First of all how do you encounter ANYONE online with the Wii's online functions? Second the Wii games are generally aimed for the casual and kid friendly audience. I suggest you rethink your ideas before posting dribble like this.

Thats so untrue, because my last 5 games in R:FoM online, the servers were packed with whiny, irritating 12 year olds.
But of course i'm not gonna be dimwitted like a few posters in this thread and assume that, because i had a few bad games packed with kids on PSN, that only kids play on PSN or even that they're a majority.
Um, at least you can get online with the 360. And you don't need a "friend code" to play with other people once you do. ROFL :lol:ColoradoKindBud
LOL

You don't need friend codes to play online with Wii. Nice try though.

First of all, you can't even play online with the Wii right now. And secondly, it's already been confrimed that you will need friend codes to play SSBMB online. Weaksauce!!

there is online play. Where have you been.Madden 08, Pokemon battle revolution, super mario strikers are just what i can think of so far.
Upcoming wifi games. Medal of Honor Heroes 2, I think fifa 08, SSBB, Mario Kart, Battalion Wars 2, thats all I can think off. Plus pc online the best anyway
The average gamer worldwide is 30 years old......LIKE ME! I hate Live because of kids on it. I like PSN cause mature men and woman are on it.Gamersince81
ugh...that's what friends lists are for. I don't know people on my friends list VERY well, but I know them enough to know that they aren't little kids who are going to ruin the experience. I haven't played a game with an annoying little kid in it for a LONG time.
