My PS1 doesn't work as well as I'd like it to and in some cases I can't play the game. Like RE2 and FF8 I'm missing a disc for.True.
I love the psn Classics.
I could just pop them in my ps1 though

Sometimes those consoles are just too darn old. Thats why im attracted to PSN. I really love the Spyro series. To some people they might be just another platformer. But to me the series was my childhood treasure.True.

or your ps3 ;) and what if you want to play a ps1 game you dont have on a disk?Castle Crashers wore out real quick. PSN for me atm. Warhawk Flower Fat Princess Echochrome Braid GT Time Trials I don't think anything on XBLA comes close except maybe that zombie vs plants game. Is that on XBLA?
But then again, I haven't had my hands on Shawdow Complex yet.
XBL arcade is great, interface wise and game wise.
I've yet to find anything to like about the PSN store except for Fat Princess, which lasted for about a weekend
Echochrome. Warhawk. Flower. All available on PSN. Also, Braid is now available, even if it was a bit short.XBL arcade is great, interface wise and game wise.

Dead-Memories
There 99.9% the same except ps3 owners can get stuff half a year free sometimes because they can access the japanese store free.FightingfanFree things on Japan PSN? Like what? Im interested.
I prefer everything on XBLA better other then the payement system, I like the games on PSN (flower FTW :D) but the XBLA just has more titles that I prefer imho, plus I like its layout and organization MUCH better.

I'd say XBLA has more content, I havent been on it in a long time. I havent had my 360 online in ages... :?
It does have alot of great PS1 classics, but I havent downloaded a single one of them. Man I wish they had trophy support.PSN... Just too many great ps1 games on it.

Which one between the two would you recommend the most? And it's not because they dont have trophies that I dont buy them, it's just I own most of them already, lol.PSN... Just too many great ps1 games on it.

XBLA has the more content for sure, however, I would say that at the present PSN actually has more high quality, diverse, and bang for the buck games then XBLA.
PS1 Classics is really huge, even more so if you are an RPG fan. Add to that a lot of really high quality PSN exclusives, then on top of that the new PSN minis, that are all indie games that run on PSP and PS3. Very cool stuff.
The PSN stuff is priced better, and that no one can argue about.... price > points. Even the hardestcore of the hardcore fanboys will admit that. A lot is a matter of taste, and while both XBLA and PSN have a lot to offer and plenty of diversity, I think that the games on PSN are "generally speaking" higher quality then those on XBLA. Of course there are some real stand-outs from the bunch like Geometry Wars, Shadow Complex, on 360, and Stardust, the Pixel Junk games, and the PS1 stuff on PS3.
Either Way, DL games have made HUGE strides this gen.... DLC may be nitpicking, money grabbing,BS, with game like Mass Effect, Resident Evil, and Dragon Age being released with add ons, but the really good, high quality games we have seen on both XBLA and PSN for a reasonable price have been the huge positive for this gen.

Both are niche games but neither is really better, you're just more likely to enjoy Soul Reaver. Its the same kind of style as Zelda, big focus on puzzles and dungeons.
I'd say the opposite. Blood Omen tells a more compact story, and even though it is in isometric 3D, the graphics have aged better then Soulreaver.
Soulreaver is much more story driven, and has some of the best in game music to date. Its all done by Kurt Harland, who is an amazing composer. The problem with Soulreaver (to modern game players) is that is was a very early 3D game, and the game itself just has not aged well game play wise. It was brillent and groundbreaking when it first came out, with physics puzzles, streaming levels with no loading, a fully swinging camera... all that stuff was crazy and new when Soulreaver came out... now it is expected... so you see what I'm saying.
Blood Omen has a story that is self contained (not to spoil, but nothing in the rest of the series can happen unless you end Blood Omen a certain way). The voice acting is nothing short of godly... brilliant voice work by Simon Templeman and the late Tony Jay. The game is very OLD school Legend of Zelda, top down adventure RPG, but with a lot of towns, NPC, dungeons, abilitys, skills.... blah blah.... yea... Blood Omen really, really kicks butt.
The while Legacy of Kain series tells what is one of, if not, my favorite and best told storys in all of gaming, but as a series goes, the first one is the best game. I say that because the fist was the most versitile of the bunch, with the most RPG and exploration. The rest are straight up action/adventure games with a great storyline.
Anyway.... if you play any of the Legacy of Kain games I hope you have a great time, they are the very most overlooked gems in all of gaming, at least in my opinion. Great story, great gamplay, and great music.
Let me know what you decided on and what you thought.
