Looking at the PSN I would have to say the original games are much better than what I've seen on X-box live. Don't get me wrong, Castle Crashers and Braid are wonderful games but when the PSN has games like Flower, Noby Noby Boy, Wipeout HD, The Last Guy, Crash Commando, Pixel Junk series, Siren:BC, ect. theres just no compairison.

Does anyone agree that the PSN games>>>>>>Xbox Live games?

I would agree on the Pixel Junk series alone. Every one has been a great experience and I'll continue to support them as long as they keep putting out games. That said, I loved Castle Crashers and really want to play Braid.

It's hard to comment on the small downloadable games because I don't play them often .... but for exclusives with online play , the PSN is pretty amazing imo - Warhawk , LittleBigPlanet , Resistance 2 , Socom , MGO (I'll just list the bigger/popular ones) ........... and Killzone 2 is about to release. I don't think the 360 is really going to compare in that regard anytime soon. Halo 3 and Gears series , and ?

The games on PSN provide more innovative and unique experiences than what is generally found on Xbox Live. Most of the stuff on Live is of the same caliber as free online flash games that can be found on the PC. Even Braid, one of few games that can compare to the selection PSN offers is getting ported to the PC next month.

The expansion was hard for me :?

It's fun playing with another person. I have enjoyed TD games from all the maps on warcraft. (wintermaul ring a bell?)

there are others out there (like save the penguin I think). I wish they came out with more like 4 squares.

Braid, Geo Wars, Geo Wars 2, Castle Crasher, Portal Still Alive, Ikaruga, Galaga Legions, Aces of the Galaxy, Lost Cities, Uno, Bomberman etc etc, XBLA > PSN even in games. Get a psn game over 8 and then talk.

There is more on Live than just Braid and Castle Crashers.

Personally, I think that both services are pretty close to even for me.

Seriously?:| Um ok..moving on. I'll have to side with spruceCaboose on this one, the services are pretty even. But WiiWare and VC are better then the two of them combined.

*sigh* Everyone seems to misquote me when i mention just 2 games and say more, I was stating that all consoles have amazing titles that no one should be ashamed of there purchase because all the systems have great titles.

Uno is actually one of the most played XBLA games on Live even now. Its surprisingly fun, at least IMO.

I was just saying. It seems like those two and Geo Wars are like the only games on XBLA that ever get mentioned. Its got over 150 games on the service, and none of them are ever mentioned. Same goes for most PSN titles and especially the XBL Community Games.

I would be willing to bet that most gamers here haven't even heard about Elefunk (PSN) or The Maw (XBLA), which is a shame, but shows how little exposure these games get. I would say the same goes for the Wii, but my knowledge of WiiWare is admittedly weak, which is why after KZ2 and Halo Wars I plan on going though WiiWare and getting a few of those titles.

A handful of PSN games are good, but they're not XBLAAA good. And having free trials for every XBLA and XNA game is a huge plus.

I agree with you it's basically quanity(XBLA interspersed with some good titles) versus quality (PSN). On a side note I am currently playing Wipeout HD which if you didn't know runs at 1080p res. 60fps and has 5.1 sound with gameplay to match. P.S. Wipeout HD is very hard to win gold on every track.

PSN certainly has more innovative titles than xbla but Braid actually outweighs that for me. It was the best puzzle platformer I've played since warioland 3 and getting it earlier than other platforms makes it worth missing out on some of the better psn titles imo. I'm glad its going multiplat though, maybe it'll clear up some of the blind fanboy rage it got for winning best platformer over lbp.

I agree completely some of them are just incredible and don't get enough credit. And I own Elefunk and its pretty fun, a nice puzzle game to go along with other great ones like Cuboid, Lumines, Bejeweled 2, Puzzle Quest, etc.

Siren looks awesome but I need more space before I DL it. Wipeout HD is incredible, QfB is good, Burnout is Burnout, Noby and Flower are both art house innovative games,

There are plenty of Dual Joystick shooters that get overlooked SSHD and Everyday Shooter specifically and Tekken 5 DR Online for fighting. And a slew of other games makes it a beast for DLC.

I'll just say this. If a really good mutliplayer game came out for the consoles I would probbly host a linux server for them. I've ran a linux dedicated server since cstrike, cstrike source, l4d, etc... Although that auto match stuff is whack. I gotta passsord it until my friends join; that darn console screwey matchup stuff.

Geometry Wars 2 is the best downloadable game on any console right now if you ask me. It's brilliant. :) Wipeout HD is a close second.
