You can mute mike sound you know. Takes a while for the menu to pop up though, but in Halo 3 the shut up button will help us all.

In RAINBOW SIX VEGAS U CAN GET BOOTED IN RANKED MATCHES. I got booted for doing too good... That is so f'ed in the A. Lost the achievment and sh*t... Good thing u can file a complaint and now he is banned for couple of days hehe. :) Gears, u cant boot in ranked like everyone says here. redmonkey911
how do you know that he got banned for a couple days? I would find it hard to believe that Microsoft would give you information about another customer.

You got booted in a ranked match because your internet connection sucks hard - or the host's is bad. Not Live's fault. Upgrade your service.

XBox Live Silver is free, and gives you access to the marketplace, demos, Live Arcade, personalized friends list, voice chat and text messaging, etc. Basically everything but playing games online.

I get booted too and it's very annoying, but it's the only game that does that. The Live features make up for the annoying disconnections.

That's what I said. In Gears, the host can't boot anyone from a Ranked match. So, if you are getting booted, it is either your connection or the host's. Given how you get booted all the time, my detective skills point the problem in your direction...
