xbox live less stable than ps3 PSN (link)

That is a weak blog post, not anything actually relevant.

I was expecting a real study or something.

So XBL is having problems at the moment - they weren't before and after MS fix the problem, it will be ok again.

Is this really an overall claim to say that XBL is less stable than PSN period, has been and always has been - or is it just a momentary thing whist MS sort out some technical problem they are experiencing.

Xbox live is having issues for me as we speak. I can't even connect at the moment.

I tried the troubleshooter and it confirms everything except the XBOX LIVE section. I says there is a Technical connection error and that I should contact customer support.

how many more people are playing gears? prob alot more but that dosent make sense anyways! dedicated servers R2 has and gears dosent. Ill be fixed soon anyways

Also XBL is working fine for me.

MS is currently setting up Xbox Live for it's NXE this coming Wednsday. All the problems will be fixed in a short while as well.TPOJ-TPO

they performed maintenance a month ago for NXE. No excuse.

um then dont use the service? you complain about it alot but why do you have a gamercard in your signature? in reality its a perfectly viable excuse its called maitnence you dont just do it once on your car you continuely do it, and xbox live is totally worth 50 dollars a year.

LIVE isnt worth a cent will all the ads and companies that paid to put their content there. There should be no lag yet I get lag in COD4 and GEARS. People need to stop paying and send MS a message. Yes its only 50 a year but the point is, you shouldnt have to pay @ all. Look at how LIVE is actually ran and you'll see. Again, its not as if MS needs more money. I understand they are a company but they are just greedy. Now, you can scream NXE but the only thing it has going is the installs. Netflix is cool but you must be a gold member to use it :|. Also, Netflix paid MS in order for it to be there. Paying for Xbox LIVE is a rip.Tjeremiah1988

That has nothing to do with PSN,theres always some people for any game that have router problems or its problems with there connection.Same thing happens to any game on Xboxlive.Resistance is a pretty lag free game,Halo 3 on the other hand had tons of lag issues whether you had good connection or not and last year's issue with Xboxlive helps fuel the arguement that Xboxlive is unstable.Even Gears 1 had more lag then than Resistance and 2,Warhawk,MGS Online.I can not comment on Gears 2 as i have not played it yet,i'am busy going through Fable 2 atm.

 How many days before it get`s fixed u think? How bout u throw a cupple of more games into the equation?... like every single multiplat released. How are those doing? Having a nice and stable inferior online experience cow?

LOL. That "dedicated servers" argument is getting so retarded. Dedicated servers, servers from the future, servers that can make you fly, you are PAYING for xbox live, and using PSN for FREE, yet xbl always crashes, and PSN has NO lag. So stop with the silly arguments. You are paying for an inferior service.

Ok I played both X box LIVE and Psn these so called lag issues are being blown out of context. I played both and and neither has lagged to the point were it messed with my experience. Microsoftis doin matinance how is this all of a sudded the end of the world, picture this MS doesn't do matinance then somthing happens when people dowload NXE then what. I noticed people who have both consoles seem to think that when live messes up its the of the world. If it messes then don't but the freaken card if you hate it so much. God people seem to think that every thing in life is gonna be perfect news flash it isn't.

Consider this you if you pay for satilite or digital cabel and they do matinace then what, you sit back and deal with it don't b*tch about it.

:roll: yes all those people had router issues, It couldn't be that people geniunely have a problem with psn, Because we all know for perfection that psn is perfect in every way, never has problems never lags, and in general if its a dedicated server it = no lag which is a total out and out lie since lag is existant all over the net no matter what you do till the entire world is covered in super computers connected via super fast plasma fiber optic connections then lag will exist even on "psn" dedicated servers many variables exist to cause lag nothing you said proves this wrong or proves me wrong, he said gears of war 2 was filled with issues resistance 2 had no issues 0 i posted links to people having issues with the game.

I've lagged on psn, I've lagged on xbox live im 26 years old and have been infront of acomputer since about 10 or 11 i've probably played more games and been on the online then most people can claim on this site and lag is a ever present thing it will never go away till the circumstances come about above i described simple as that easy peasy, Xbox live is a superior service because of what it gives me ever connection to my friends, games and such i've been on the service since the beta so many years ago i've paid every year and have my current account till 2009 paid up. I would rather pay for the better service simple as that.
