This question has been asked too many times
The fact is psn isnt even in the same league as xbox live
4 dollars a month is a small price to pay for live
psn is free but you get what you pay for
nothing for nothing

Nothing for nothing? PSN has worked flawlessly for me whenever I've played games online. No lag... no server downtime... that certainly doesn't qualify as "nothing."
If PSN is nothing for nothing, Xbox Live is something for nothing. I'll take the former.
I would say they are equal. PSN is free, works fine, has a good selection of downloadable stuff which is all generally cheaper than what you'll find on XBL. Xbox Live on the other hand has a better selection of downloadable stuff and in game messanging, but it costs the same as a new game here in the UK for a year and like I said, the downloadable stuff seems to cost more, and the free headset given in the Pro and Elite 360's doesn't work well with the amount of bratty and arrogant people on there.
I feel PSN will gain the edge when it gets in game XMB if it works well.

Someones easily amused...
I say PSN because it's free, but XBL is better.
I don't care about movies or demos, I just use it to play online, mostly, and I'd rather that service be offered for free, like it SHOULD.
Though I do prefer XBL, it just costs $$$.

Well said. If I want movies, I'll go to The Pirate Bay, download them, and then put them on my PS3. I just want to play online, so I choose PSN.
PSN is better because its free, we're gonna get in-game xmb, we're gonna get Home, we're gonna get trophies, it uses dedicated servers, we use credit cards for content for now, the PSN cards are gonna come, we can use any bluetooth headset, plus we have Qore which gives us exclusive content! Awesome!
we use credit cards for content for now

Yeah, because paying for stupid MS points is better than paying actual CASH, right? Right? I guess in crazy lemming world it is.

When people go to the store and buy these MS points they use actual CASH. I don't get what you're trying to say. There's more people that don't have credit cards to spend on a video game content than there is with people with credit cards.
I have credit cards but I refuse to use it for video gaming content due to security measures and interest rates. I usually just get those prepaid cards where I put actual CASH in.
Like I said PSN Cards are coming, tell everyone, call grandpa!

There's always some points leftover. I'd rather buy an item for it's actual cash value, then buy some stupid $12 card for something that costs $8.
I guess i could just spend that money on gamer pics and themes.

Most of the time I get these points cards as gifts, so I'm not even spending my own money. What if someone wants to get you video gaming content over the PSN, how can they do it in an easier faster way then transfering money from their bank account to your bank account. And yeah, who spends money on gamer pics and themes, that's redonkalous!
edit: didn't cows claim that they don't like DLC.
