Xbox live worth the 50 dollars a year

Just by the deal of the week you save atleast a few dollars a week on dlc. So that easily makes up for the price of xbox live. Alot of other stuff make xbox live worth the 50 dollars. Does psn have a deal of the week?

Not really in my case, because I just use it for online play pretty much. I will be using Last f.m. though. Can't wait for that.

I don't have a choice so I have to pay and 50 isn't really that bad anyways.

Worth it IMO. Don't really care what anyone else thinks.

Free > £40

Free weekends (Games, was killing Floor last time)

First of all PS3 online play is terrible... xbox live is really easy to use.. so IMO...ima say it again so ps3 fanboys dont have a panic attack, IMO its definitely worth it.

I think it's worth it. I don't mind paying about $4 per month for Live. I don't even play online much, but $4 each month to play on a great online service whenever I want is well worth it imo

Steam is free and they have crazy good deals on there all the time. Now I know that deals are not wanted on PSN becasuse they have the benefit of free online gaming. Thanks for the laughs cows.

Like he said ^^^. I've never paid more than $29 for a 12 month Live card (just wait until Best Buy throws the cards on sale). I will add that I like the look and the feel of the Live experience over PSN anyday. It's just simpler to navigate and get where I need to go, and it looks better. Sony's interface is really boring and overdone.

I don't play online alot but when I do Live is easier to connect on and has alot less lag. PSN may get better in the future (it already has gotten alot better from where it started) if it does then I will have to re-evaluate the $2.50 a month I pay for Live, but until then Live is better to me.

For me that price isn't worth it but then again I haven't paid that full price for years now and most of the time I get them free for birthdays. Fees asides, there's just features I use and prefer only available on Xbox Live.

I have a feeling if M$ made Live free for like 2 months then started charging for it again not as many 360 users would think $50 a year is worth it. It would just anger a lot of people really...

The only core differnece between XBL and PSN is cross-game chat. $50 a year doesn't justify that.
Now that the ps3 has netflix along with free online, XBL is running out of arguments.

I basically use PSN for playing online so to me it isn't worth it
