Xbox One -- Day One Consoles Now Sold Out (Amazon)

How many do you think that is? Probably not a million, but maybe the Xbox One won't be quite the sales super failure some are predicting?

Depends on how many they produced, wasn't it the xbox that had the production problems or was that the PS4?

But either way it won't flop as badly as the stupid cows think.

I have no idea how many they made and I have no idea how many Amazon had. I'd be curious to know how many systems/games both companies need to sell (both companies including MS and Sony) to start turning a profit -- all development costs considered.

Good numbers for sure. I tried to get one this morning, but they were sold out again. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Could be, I just saw a post on GS (from 3 hours ago) that it had sold out. I figured it was relatively current information (given that we were talking hours and not days).

@Chutebox: They added more day one consoles earlier.

Unless they had some extras laying around, there has been no option to by a Xbone for a long time.

EDIT: BTW, if they added additional Day 1 consoles, that's fairly promising, too. The real world is far more compelling than the one we construct with our assumptions and perceptions.

In the US I'm predicting 600,000+ sales day one. We shall see though. But selling every single one you could make at a price higher than your competition, that would be a very solid opening.

@shawn30: You must remember that the PS4 only launched in the NA.
