The X1 does have HuMa om their AMD card. It's up to Microsoft whether they want to use it or not.

"The Verge reported back in June on all topics AMD and seems to have included the XB1, although we haven't, again, a direct quote.
That might sound suspiciously vague, but we spoke to AMD and it's actually true. The AMD chips inside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One take advantage of something called Heterogeneous Unified Memory Access (HUMA), which allows both the CPU and GPU to share the same memory pool instead of having to copy data from one before the other can use it. Diana likened it to driving to the corner store to pick up some milk, instead of driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles. It's one of AMD's proposed Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) techniques to make the many discrete processors in a system work in tandem to more efficiently share loads."
We already know it has it, the people in that thread are ignoring the links and keep arguing about it, lol.
So basically, the consoles are the same... only different.

Basically, they both have HuMa in their systems. Cows are just butthurt and try to find anything on the NET to prove the PS4 is superior to the X1. lol!! It's pretty hilarious. Especially when the games will all look and play similar on both platforms.
"However, according to a confirmed Xbox One dev on Reddit- who cited an Ars Technica article which defined hUMA as a coherent cache system and that the CPU and GPU will always see a consistent view of data in memory. If one processor makes a change then the other processor will see that changed data, even if the old value was being cached the Xbox One will feature something similar to hUMA."

That sounds like spin to me, or at least like assumptions. The description is broad enough to overlap the supposed advantages of hUMA, or however I'm supposed to write it.

It's usually more about "worth doing" than "can do".

ok, compare 1080p 60 fps killzone Shadow fall multiplayer to non 1080p Titanfall Multiplayer... KZ takes a steamy wet dump all over Titanfall graphically   the difference is QUITE clear there[QUOTE="blackace"][QUOTE="Netherscourge"]

After seeing Titanfall and KZ: SF multiplayer, the differences are pretty massive...[QUOTE="Netherscourge"]

I'm a developer for the XB1. Everyone is, haven't you heard? Considering Microsoft and its 3rd party publishers are so tight-lipped about the innards of the new Xbox, it's shocking to see a "Confirmed Xbox ONE Dev" speaking so openly about it. It's like s/he was ordered to go on reddit and DC for Microsoft.[QUOTE="Netherscourge"]

You just been told that XB1 has something similar to and including hUMA (at the expense of dropping esram) and all you can come back with is talking bad about the developer? smh. Whether he knew about it or not doesn't really matter point is XB1 can do it or something similar. Please Log In to post.
