Xbox One Getting a Free Pass?

Where are the quality exclusives? Where are the quality multiplats? What sets the system apart from others? Kinect didn't work out, they scrapped it. How can a company that buys its way out of everything get a free pass simply because it's similar to PS4?

There are constantly threads on how the PS4 is a low end PC, doesn't have a lot of games, or just talk about comparing the PC to the PS4.

Yet the X1 is worse in all these categories and all the rage is about bashing the PS4.

Even the GS reviewers protect the Xbox One from the truth. Take The Handsome Collection for instance, no mention of the screen tearing that's rampant in the X1 version. Digital Foundry and every other review mentions the problems with that version. GS always fails to mention the X1 versions having problems and pretends it shares absolute parity with the PS4.

Not nearly the free pass Nintendo and their games and consoles do.

I actually think the PS4 looks very much worth owning, I just find the hardcore cows to be the most despicable of all the fanboys.

I don't hate my PlayStation 4, I see some places where it could use some improvements not only in a software capacity but also from a corporate point of view, but that is not my main issue, it's not bad. My main issue with this system is the group of users behind it who rally for it, absolutely despicably retched and delusional idiots... These people are fucking insane... The bullshit that they spout is just beyond words, absolutely beyond words...

As for Xbox one exclusives - Scalebound. This could be the best hack and slash game ever. I was planning on getting the Xbox one instead of Ps4 because of its excellent potential exclusives. A new (great) Banjo game would justify the purchase for me alone.

Have you just come back from on a long vacation? GS has been primarily a pro-UK site in the past few years. I don't know how you people get these ideas. SW is so full of hate that all three systems are bashed day-in and day-out. You can pretty much expect stale jokes about PS4 bullshots, WiiU sales and X1 resolutions all the way till the end of this gen.

The PS4 is the one who is getting the free pass, one 1 truely decent exclusive in the 18months of it life span. Exclusives being hyped to the max yet massively flopping. Console barely more powerful then the competition. Still not being able to do what the PS3 can do i.e media streaming. Only one decent update to the system. Re releases after re-releases

Horizon 2 is the best next gen racing game. Sunset Overdrive was great as well. Tons of great multiplats. Shadow of Mordor, Mortal Kombat X, GTA V, NBA 2K15, Wolfenstein, Borderlands, etc.. are all great games on XB1. Microsoft still has several Kinect games in the works. Also, their Hololens VR will support Kinect as well. What free pass? MS has been working hard to turn all the negativity of their system around over the last year and half. They never got any "free pass". Same thing that happened with the PS3 last gen.

Joke of the day confirmed. You must not have been on SW for very long. There a trolls consistently attacking anything XB1 on a daily basis.

It didn't get away with things at launch and it was very much a target.

Now things are settled down its certainly not getting a free pass. Overall the games look very similar to that of PS4, only fanboys in here and DF actually care or even see the difference. Its had decent Exclusives and the PS4 was really struggling with that until Bloodborne came out.

Going forward its cheaper than the PS4, has slightly less power, exclusives are on the way, its not the worse console for multiplats (Wii u), has some very neat additional features and the integration with Windows 10 is going to make it very attractive.

Companies making games for either console on the other hand.

That's one more than what the X1 has. That's why I can't understand letting them off the hook when we all know Microsoft and exclusives go together like oil and water, but that's ok here... for some reason.

Never understood that. MS has been a bane to pc gamers. yet some here protect the platform... when they just want to exploit them, and tried to do so in the past...plus killed off all their pc studios and stole other pc only studios and made them xbox devs... I have been pc gaming for years, and own every PlayStation console. The two go hand in hand. 90% of Xbone games besides halo is on PC ( and halo is overrated imo!)

wait why shouldn't ps4 get a pass for having a better gpu? it was 100 dollars cheaper at launch then the same price for a whole year shouldn't you give them some kinda pass on that they gave you a better deal then microsoft for a year and pushed games to tv settings max resolution of 1080p you shouldn't pass that up when its a t cheaper price for a year
