I know this has been stated already, but I'd like to reiterate it as concisely as possible: The recent Xbox One reveal was a press event styled similarly to one that Apple would hold. E3 will be for the games. How do I know? Well, I'm just taking they're word for it, just like I'm taking Sony's word that they're "for the gamers and developers!".

At this point E3 and the subsequent months until launch are all Microsoft has left. So why would they not show any good game content? 15 exclusives within the first year is something new from them as well. I'm not assuming they will honor that with 15 Halo-caliber exclusives, but at least half of them may be quality core games.

To everyone assaulting the Xbox One, don't be surprised when you see a bunch of cool exclusives shown for it. Don't forget Microsoft made a killing by ass smashing people with Live fees this gen and are investing one billion dollars in first party game development. It's old and cliche, but money talks. Don't get too cocky and have your feet and dick in your mouths is all I'm advising. They're here to compete.



To finalize everything, just don't write the poor bastards off or assume PS4 will take over so handily. Gamers are quick to jump the gun and mostly deal in the immediacy of the industry. There's obviously more to come.

Note 1: I'm speaking about the games side of things. I'm not really getting into the DRM, Kinect spying, and 24 hour issues (MS fails if these are true).

Note 2: PS4 does sound like a better bargain so far lol.

Note 3: Wii U will be crushed by both PS4 and X1, but I'll by it anyways for a select few amazing games.

I don't think it'll be THE BEST of the last 6 years, but it'll be good I reckon. MS has had some lackluster E3's, I think they have something to proove and can only go up. I could be dead wrong though lol.

What's the big deal? Gamers seem to be upset because Microsoft is making them wait three weeks to show them the same games they've been playing for years but with prettier graphics. That's all the PS4 conference was. They said 8GB and the forums went wild. They showed tech demos and first person shooters with updated graphics and heads were exploding with excitement. Xbox shows you instantanious switching between gaming and TV viewing and everybody is fuming. "How dare they not show us good graphics!" Believe me, if instant switching works like what was shown, you guys are going to wonder why wasn't this done sooner. When the next 3rd party multiplatform game comes out, you are going to get the One version because of instant switching instead of switching to the game the old fashioned PS4 way.

PS4 wins easily in my eyes. So I will rub it in all I want. Sony has made a better console to me than MS did and Sony isn't a year behind this time.

Think about how many steps you go through, how much waiting it takes just to continue a game? If you can do it with a few words, thats gonna be a huge bonus in my book.
