Xbox One is the best system?

Sony's Dice team just stated that the PS4 is already out of date.

PC's cant even play an Xbox One launch game with all their uber PC tech.(DR3)

And this is with a bogged down/unoptimized API and before DX12, Tile Resources and the cloud.

And Xbox One is still the only next gen console with AAA game at 1080p/60fps. (Forza 5 launch game.)

Yeah a lot of you made your decision based on specs and not whole ecosystem of the console.

The "best" system is a matter of opinion, really.

Technically the Xbox One is behind the PS4. Thats a fact.

In terms of games, both were quick to adopt the tradition of launch years being complete and utter shit.

I like the xboxone better than the ps4 for numerous reasons. The controller, the exclusive content (fifa legends ultimate team in my case), the community. Graphicall prowess is not the reason why I like it though, the ps4 is a bit better but it's greatly exagerrated.

Comparing with a pc is just ridiculous. I can build a mid range pc for a price of 700$ that will easily double the performance of the xboxone. Give me 2000$ and I make a system that's 5 times as strong and can handle 4K resolution for any game. It's not because there's a driver problem with a game that you should go bashing on the pc. It's a fight you'll never win.

I have a pc and a X360 , tomorrow or the day after I'm getting an xboxone.

Since the XB1 is pumping out these 1080p games will we Sony have higher res games? Like 1440p or higher since it's 45% more powerful than the XB1.

I have to say I'm not turning on my PS4, Wii U, or Xbone lately. It's been an exceptionally shitty year for gaming.

Though, I did fire up my PS4 a few days ago to mess about with GS AAA reviewed 9/10 Velocity 2x. Thank goodness for PS+ (16 games so far since launch), as it gets me to turn the thing on at least twice a month. :P GwG program on Xbone helps too, although only 6 games released so far on GwG since launch so I play it less. I would play it more, but it doesn't help that for two months, M$ recycled GwG games (Max Curse and Crimson Dragon).

Just rocking the PC and PS3. My Wii and 360 are close to retirement, methinks.

If this thread is suggesting the Xbone is more powerful than the PS4 then lol. We are approaching the one year anniversary, is this denial still a thing?

No. 1080p will be the resolution ceilling on PS4 with plenty of games falling a bit short of that mark in order to push for more visual bells and whistles.

I don't think Sony can ever compete with Microsoft in software. It's an area Microsoft will always be ahead.

Yeah, I know. Just seems there is always issue with the more demanding games on PC. But a lot of PC players play these RTS, MMO, and LOL games...I personally like the reliability of the X1 so far.

I wouldn't say that. If you buy good hardware and you know what you're doing you don't have any problems.

I'm a pc gamer but I'm also a console gamer. I don't play rts and mmo. I use my pc for the graphics. I spend a lot more time on my console though, simply because i'm a sucker for certian console exclusives like fighting games and sports games.

This wasn't the case when I was younger though, then it was all pc but since the x360 and the ps3 , the consoles have become a lot more interesting. The last 4 years that isn't the case anymore though and you can already see the difference now as well.

DR3 is capped at 30 FPS and it's poorly optimized.

Most multiplats perform and look better on PC.

DR3 performs/looks the same on both and its equally as garbage.

It's made on DX11 platform with a 7700 amd gpu, it should run flawlessly from the beginning. The XB1 hardware isn't exotic like the Cell processor.

Dead Rising 3 on PC runs better than 720p and 18-28 fps Xbox One version . It is a terribly optimized game , rushed to launch along with Xbox One . Still , as I said , despite being unoptimized , it is far superior on PC .

On other hand DX 12 is targeted mainly for PC to allow developers to use every last drop of power from the hardware . Xbox One is the weakest hardware when compared with PS4 and PC . Its exclusives appeal to me more than PS4 ones though .

However , saying that PS4 is being held back by Xbox One is a bit idiotic . It's not like PS4 is something which is leagues ahead of Xbox One . Fanboys exaggerate its power to extremely high level , which makes me laugh .

its the only system where I have destiny playing at 1080p while having another game suspended while talking to some bopper on skype. Played ISS on my ps4 and try to use the broswer i couldnt open no more than three tabs while infamous was running in the background lol i have turn off my xbox since Dec id be damn if I do that with the ps4 how loud the thing get when running a game.

Matter of opinion. I bought my PS4 because I liked the PS3 and previous Sony consoles. I don't care which is the "best" according to you peeps. I got the console that I know I would like. I had the 360 Slim but it was nothing more than a DVD player for a few years. I eventually traded it in because I had no interest in anything it had to offer. Doesn't mean I think PlayStation is better. Just my preference in what I want to play my games on.

However, yes, my console of choice this gen is Xbone as it appeals to me the most.

It certainly got me interested over the PS4. Don't have an X1 just yet, but I know damn well what games and genres it carries, and the controller and online infrastructure (not that I care about MP so much) as a console are the best, imo.

The 360, currently, I'm still playing as oppose to my PS3 which is currently collecting dust (done with most of it's exclusives) says a lot. However, despite what others have said, I'm willing to take another play through with Resistance 3, imo, that was fun.
