Xbox One(KINECT) has huge potential

I mean Wii had huge potential and it sold 100 million.

Now when Kinect came out(on Xbox 360) it came with some great games and sold more than original Xbox console.

Really, Kinect 2 has huge potential to be something good.

I know you hardcore gamers gonna hate this and say its bad and shit but really... Look at Kinect scan.

If Microsoft can get right with Kinect then it can sell a lot.

Think if Microsoft Kinect had all this scanning system with every game. It would be so great.

Now Kinect Sports Rivals is going to be first Kinect game that proves that Kinect can be game changer.

What they need to do.

1)Make scan system work

2)Make great Kinect games(please, not only shitty dance games)

It can only fail if they make game and later they trying to add Kinect gameplay that not work at all. Make Kinect games like Kinect Sports Rivals or Kinect Adventures and it will be another Wii Sports Resort just with better gameplay, online and funcisons.

Kinect has great potential. Right now its main use is just as a support device imo. It detects sounds and sudden movements by the player in DR3, it can scan your DLC codes with ease, it can recognize and sign your profile in automatically, head tracking in Forza 5.

All great things that add to a game or help with the system. The main use is still to be discovered. I still have yet to try Sports Rivals.

All in all a great piece of tech, just waiting for the bomb that is its calling.

Again... it all depends on developers... We have shitty games like NBA Live 14, Knack, Blacklight: Retribution and those are all controller games.

Look at Wii. Some Wii games are so crappy with motion controller and some games are great like Super Mario Galaxy.

Allowing marketing to design and market a product based on potential, with no actual product to show for it? Sounds like exactly what happened with the Xbox One.

You are probably right. I think to myself could people be this stupid? Then I'm like yeah they can. Pretty soon we will be living in a police state where i will be in some mental ward for looking at porn. Better root out the evil doers and correct their behavior. it's actually pretty simple, the non game kinect uses are absolutely amazing and the gaming uses are just shyt.

It's a shame the face scanning stuff isn't any good in practice.

I've been hearing about this potential since the original Kinect and all we've got to show for it is one okay game, some voice commands and being able to sign in with your face. I'm still waiting on Milo, skateboard scanning and all the amazing applications alongside a controller that were talked about originally.

Wii sold much because it was unlike anyone had ever seen and it attracted a horde of nongamers. Fad for them and after 1-3 months, most stopped playing. Nintendo tried to bring this crowd back with the Wii U and is currently failing HARD.

Kinect also drew in a lot of people with otherworldly promises that turned out too good to be true. So despite good INITIAL sales, ask anybody now and they wouldn't wanna buy one. Shit attach rate for the Kinect too. It's the REAL reason why Kinect is boxed in with the Xbone. Everyone knows that POS would fail as hard as Move would if it wasn't stuffed into every box.
