Xbox One owners, are you content with the system?

Because I'm not. Thing collects so much dust. I take that back, it has the best version of AC IV: Black Flag. Love that game. The thing has MCC and Sunset Overdrive. I'm totally happy. Just kidding.

Where are the fucking exclusives for this system? E3 had better deliver, because if it doesn't, there's a trash can with my Xbone's name on it.

Same can be said about the PS4. My PS4 has been collecting dust for a while now while my Xbox has been getting most of the play time. All because the PS4 now has Bloodborne doesn't me is has the greatest exclusives out of nowhere.

I'm happy with it. Got it a couple months ago, only have the MCC, but I absolutely adore the Halo games so I'm very content. It's what I've been playing this afternoon, actually. Plus, I have a few titles that I've received free, like Rayman Legends, Forza Horizon 2: Fast & Furious, Child of Light, and Neverwinter, all games that I've barely touched. Couple those with games that I have yet to even purchase like Sunset Overdrive or Ryse and I'm content.

Though, things might be different if I didn't also have the Wii U or PS4. I'd have purchased the multiplats for Xbox One instead like AC: Unity, Destiny, FF: Type 0 HD, and DA: Inquisition, but... yeah, who knows. I'm relatively easy to please though so eh.

I'm happy with my X1. I get to play Titanfall, DR3 (even the super arcade bundle), Halo MCC (despite the naysayers), smooth online, game capture, and so on.

I honestly wish Microsoft would do something about the UI being so slow and buggy at times, and come up with a fix for certain apps. I think Microsoft should also make a new controller for it that raises the bumpers. Can't wait for E3.

I could say the same about my PS4. I can count the amount of times I've used it last year on two hands, this year I haven't turned it on at all.

@Zassimick: Yeah I have most of those games mixed and matched on X1 or PS4, but I could have easily gotten most on PS4.

I actually cant wait to see their E3. They have a HUGE following in America and its kinda scary what they have done so far with what they have. Its in Microsoft's best interest to go big, the fanbase is coming in like a Tsunami, only takes a few big ones and then its everywhere.

My biggest complaint right here too. Compared to the PS4 UI, the X1's is just abysmal. The layout took getting used to, but it just takes so long to load achievements or other things.

I'm with you on E3 as well. Despite my pessimistic attitude towards the conference I really hope Microsoft pulls out some surprises. Really, I hope the whole conference is filled with surprises. But I won't hold my breath. :P

My TV runs through it so I use it every day.

I use my Xbox One every day (if not necessarily for playing video games), just bought a new graphics card and power supply for my computer and my PS4 is back in its box.

I'm fine with it, has most the library of PS4 minus each's set exclusives, I went for the Xbox One first because it had the games that interested me at the time I just couldn't play on PS4.

I don't use it enough. Same with my PS4.

The only games I have is Sunset,Ryse, Mcc, and Dead rising. The first party games are great and I put a lot more time into them than ps4 exclusives, but there has been so little.

PS4 I already have 30 + games and I get multiplats on there because of the faster installs. So E3 is really do or die for MS in terms of first party.

Bro you don't know how much I use my Xbox One. I use it way more then my PS4 and Wii U. Playing Killer Instinct, MCC, [only for the Campaigns] and it's Media features like watching Netflix. If I want to use Blu-Ray, my PS4 does it better. All in all, I got my Xbox One last November for only $350 and it's the COD with 1TB which was a very good deal when MS drop the price.

Were you content with ps4 in 2014? Will you be content with it for the remainder of 2015?

I'm not sure when the last time was I played it. MCC's issues chased me away and it doesn't help that I only own one for X1 exclusives, which are scarce. Even when an exclusive comes out, I usually bide my time and wait for news on a PC version.

Really? Don't they have Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, Crackdown, Quantum Break, Scalebound and Phantom Dust all announced? Seems like a pretty nice lineup of incoming games, honestly, much stronger than what I've heard from Sony's and Nintendo's first parties (albeit I presume they are secretly working on much more than they have announced)

It boggles my mind knowing that Microsoft opted for a more slick, but dumbed down UI in comparison to 360's. Simple things like checking on a friend, achievements, and for crying out loud no offline achievements...I will say however, that I really like the ranking system and knowing that I can be third in place, first or even 30 depending on how many achievements I unlock...I have a feeling MS's gonna come out swinging at E3.

Maybe the whole Win 10 integration will give us a more stable experience.

Pretty happy with mine, though not getting the most use out of it recently. Great console in general, So far i have (exclusive wise)

Sunset Overdrive (pretty crappy)

Forza Horizon 2 (amazing game, second best racer so far this gen)

Zoo Tycoon (surprisingly fun and addictive)

Halo MCC (actually my house mates not mine, but it's a mess of a game even now which is annoying.

The ui of the XBO is really chuggy which is pretty crappy but I'm sure they'll sort it soon enough. Next game will be Forza 6

No because I had Destiny for it. :P As far as 2015? Pretty much because I'll have The Witcher 3 to play, and later I'll be getting Bloodborne.

I sympathize, but those ARE Microsoft's big franchises that I imagine most of the time and effort will go into. Still, doing a good job to provide alternatives to those "main" ones too. I'll be getting an Xbone for Christmas I think, the worthwhile games are piling up.

Content? I forget it's there half the time to be honest. I love Halo MCC (still jumping into the campaigns now and again, taking my time) but that's all I have for it that I play. I got Ryse but that was just an awful game.. I buy multiplats on PC or PS4 so the Xbox One is my least used system.

When I bought it I was hoping for things like Alan Wake 2 or Lost Odyssey 2 but none of the exclusives so far apart from MCC have appealed to me. The holiday lineup apart from Halo 5 does nothing for me either. I hate driving games and couldn't give a toss for a Gears remaster. Why not at least release a remastered trilogy? If they're doing it one game at a time they can **** off.

I'll keep the One for Halo 5 and Quantum Break when they arrive but it's fair to say apart from Halo it's been underwhelming. I expect I'd like it a lot more if I didn't also have a PS4 which is far better for multiplats. Last gen I bought multiplats on both 360 and PS3, this time around that's never going to happen which is a shame.

The AAA exclusives are lacking on both fronts right now. In case you haven't noticed, studios are having a hard time getting games out the door this gen. We should commend the studios that have.

I'm more happy with it than my PlayStation 4, but I know that neither system is exactly killing it in terms of games, at least not yet.

Having a blast with it. Use it every day. Have like 300 games on steam and Im still playing tons of games on my xbone.

Arguable my worst console purchase ever is the xboxone (and I got it with kinect and 3 games for well under 300 dollars. I think maybe 250ish after tax). It was sort of like I paid 100 dollars for the console and I still regret it.

I haven't played a game on it for at least 5 months.

My second worse console purchase would probably be the PS4 (at least it gave me an excuse to turn it on 2015).

I love how people here bash the one console and praise the other for its game when they both have nothing. It funny seeing users here praise the xboxone or hate on the xboxone while showing the complete opposite feelings for the ps4. Oh, fanboyism.

I have never been more disappointed with a console generation than this one.

Okay this is a bit weird. 'they both have nothing'. They both have tons of really good games. They may not be exclusive, but they are there. If you already have a PC and have no interest in multiplats on consoles why did you buy them both?

My consoles are upstairs my PC is downstairs so when I want some alone game time I go upstairs and play on PS4 or X1. Also I play CRPG's on PC and action games on consoles basically they all serve a different purpose but you are talking as though you bought consoles literally just for exclusives which is kind of a strange thing to do you must have known what they both had to offer in that sense before you bought them?

locked 30fps on ps4, almost locked on xb1 but has minor dips. Then it's 1080p on ps4 and 900p on xbox one, and while not that big an issue xbox one like 360 crushes blacks and has higher contrast, while it actually works better than correct colors in some games in others it's a negative.

Unity on the other hand, is marginally less shity on XB1 due to the ps4 team gimping that version and not being the focus. That's a hollow victory :p

All I know dawg is that those tropical colors pop out like I've never seen before on my ecksbawks wan. I've rented the Wii U version of BF and it looked amazing given the power difference, but was a little lower res. I bought the PS4 version and played it to completion. Looked very good but suffered some screen tears and stutters here and there. I got the Xbox One version free with the AC bundle, and it could be that because it's digital, it just performs slightly better in my situation?

@Bigboi500: Hmm, that's odd about the screen tearing and dips, maybe DF didn't test extensively. Can't say for sure as I haven't played it, but you're the only person i've ever seen say this. Digital wouldn't matter since installs..

As for the colors, i'll take your word for it as sometimes xbox's color bias helps. On a game like prince of persia 2008, it looks like shit :p

Lol, not exactly. Technically it's just half the machine it could and should have been. People saying they are satisfied with it kinda amaze me considering that half of its silicon is missing. It ain't really tearing up the place in the games department either.

I bought the xboxone because the sale was arguable the best it will ever be for that console.

I bought the ps4 and sold it on launch day and net me some money. Some time later, Target had a really good sale (at the time) which let me stack coupons and get the PS4 for about 300 dollars.

I bought PS4 for Destiny which ended up being a disappointment. Bloodborne is fantastic though.

Xboxone was just because of the sale price. I wanted to play with my friends and family with MCC for November/December. That didn't work. I played Halo 5 beta and after that ended and I haven't turned it on since. There was some single player games that were fun but there isn't much else.

I didn't expect the start of this generation to be this bad on exclusives. There are too many remasters that are being shoveled out. I admit there are some games just not the amount I was hoping for.

TLDR version: I bought them because they were on sale and expected more out of them. It was a mistake on my part.
