Xbox One unboxing from TechRadar

Pretty interesting discussion and an unboxing from someone other than Major Nelson is always a plus.  About 15 minutes long.  At about 12 minutes in they pull out a 360 to do a size comparison.  Also shows how the light on the controller works.

I mean, that thing was so heavy it messed up my finger when I was trying to set it up in my living room a few weeks back. It didn't heal right afterwards either. :(

I don't get the Major Nelson hate. It's not like the guy is an asshole or anything, he's just doing a job, which for the most part he does rather well. Sure he's an MS shill, but unlike a lot of shills his setup is pretty upfront. I think he comes off as a pretty sincere guy.

To be completely honest I actually liked the X1 design at the reveal (minority I know). Seeing it up-close like this though, I really don't like it at all.

Wow is ultra huge i think is more or less the size of the original gigantic xbox,is actually longer and wider to and to thiink it doesn't even feature an internal PSU man MS sucks designing units.

Out of the 3 unboxings I have seen I will say I liked this one the most and shed a pretty good light outside of hardcore gamers. The size and the power brick shows that MS doesnt really know how to build a system as well as Sony but in the scheme of things it doesnt mean much to me. The system will go under my tv and brick behind my tv i dont see why its a problem but overall the system is not huge its about the size of the 360.To me it looks as good as the ps4 because even though the ps4 is smaller and thinner that italic style isnt really a good look. As far as the Sony fans go I know the system should be smaller instead of bigger but the ps3 was just as ultra huge and that didnt stop anybody from getting it

I'm still undecided. I liked the Xbox 360 during its launch up to about 2009 but then I grew bored of the exclusive content they offered. The huge focus on kinect since 2009 drove me to get a ps3 but I don't really like the ps3 controller too much. The Xbox one is looking good but I really don't want to get it if they screw up later so I may get a ps4 first but then my bro had a ps3 at launch and was bored until metal gear solid 4 released. So I guess it comes down to good launch, bad finish or slow launch, and good finish.Ghost120x
