Xbox One X patched Assassin's Creed Origins, gets patched again! Look out high end PC!

This is a new patch that increases texture memory to allow for high res textures and increases draw distance. X gon give it to ya!

I agree with that. It will no longer be arguable when Volta is released in a few short months. However, most people think of a PC with a GTX 1070 as a high end PC so that is why I refer to them as such. But again, good point and I agree, the 1070 is mid tier GPU at this point.

You just can't tell people. They know X1X has trash performance, yet they double down because resolution is higher than the Pro. Anyone who cares would invest in a PC.

That cost more than an Xbox One X. Also some people don't like gaming on a PC. They like to put in a game and play instead of downloading drivers, mess with settings, etc.

PC version also has HDR support now. So, the PC version is far superior to the console versions.

@GiveMeSomething: oh c'mon, a 1070 might have a number of outclassing cards at this point but mid-low is an agenda talking. Low for 4k, perhaps, but with 1080p-1440p as by FAR the PC standard the 1070 is still a monster card. My 970 churns through 1080p content like a pro, and the 1070 smokes it

Look out high end mid range PC! A mediocre collectathon game by a shit company already boycotted by anyone above 70 IQ has slightly optimized one game for a closed system with trash CPU!

30 FPS has always been acceptable for Consoles.

Hell games like Perfect Dark on N64 and Panzer Dragoon on Saturn ran even slower than 30FPS.

Good to see this, I don't care much for this game not a big AC fan, but I am interested in other Ubi games such as For Honor which recently got X-enhanced, and Ubi is apparently running tests on the new dedicated servers so I'm waiting until that is settled before I jump back in. I'm also getting Far Cry 5 for its very cool looking co-op mode. Nice to see Ubi supporting the X like this with regular patches.

Not sure what MS is trying to do now.

X1X performance doesn't even approach 1070 performance. It's somewhere around a 1050/1060.

Which is a complete lie. The game mostly runs at around 1800p on X1X. 1070 offers the same/better performance at 4K and higher settings. A 44% bump in resolution and better graphics isn't insignificant.

@BassMan: can you provide a link for HDR on pc for origins? Last I heard they cancelled the plans for HDR on PC, would love to be proved wrong cause I have a pc with a 1080 ti, Xbox one x, and a 4K HDR tv, I really wanna experience this game with HDR whenever I get it.
