Xbox One....any games left to play?

I mean, what is the point in owning an XBX this gen? It doesnt have many exclusives and the ones it does are probably the worst in their respective series (Halo and Gears). Forza has done well but I dont like what I'm hearing about the microtransaction model.

So, is there anything in the pipeline? Any announcements incoming? Or is the console useless if one has a PS4 or even a PC ?

Xbox has become the joke of the industry. They should just quit now, it's gotten too emberassing even for Xbox.

Not many reasons to buy one, but if you DO have one, PUBG should keep people busy for a while. I mean, honestly, what other options are there right now?

It has the biggest library of games after PC thanks to backward compatibility (Xbox 360 games & OG xbox games enhanced) & the new games from this gen (Forza, halo, Gears, Recore, SOT, SD2, Crackdown 3, SLT, Cuphead, KI, Sunset Overdrive etc...) Different strokes for different folks and all that. Personally I’m very happy with my Xbox One right now. I prefer playing all the multi platform games on it for a variety of reasons such as controller preference and the Xbox ecosystem. I also still very much love Halo, Gears of War, and Forza. I am looking forward to seeing some new stuff in the future and hoping that they’ll have a surprise or two in the future.

If you don't have a decent pc and have no plans for one, Scorpio is a no brainer (especially of you don't care for sony exclusives).

If you want to play cuphead and PUBG on console

A) If you don't own a PC and only play multies, then buy one.

B) Need exclusives, buy a PS4.

C) Got money? Buy a PC and PS4.

I have 3 tb filled with games to play for my X1X. Currently still going through AC origins and Wolfenstein 2. Good lord they look glorius on my 4k HDR tv. Thank you MS and God bless the United States

Be hard to see a single person playing it on Xbox as it's not available until the 12. But I'm going to be on it with many as of then. How many will be playing it on PS4?

For people that like to play on PC, there probably is not a lot of reason to own a Xbox, but for anybody that hates playing games on PC and prefers to play on a console (and there are millions of people that feel that way), there are many reasons to own a Xbox. It is the best console for multiplats, it is the best entertainment hub, it offers free backwards compatibility instead of charging you to rent the games like on PS4, it has the best online service, and it has actual fun games with gameplay like Cuphead, Forza, and PUBG which can't be played on any other console.

You ask if there are any games left to play on Xbox, one can ask the same thing about the PS4. Does the PS4 still have games with a focus on gameplay or is it mostly just about movie "games" now? I can tell you that over the past few months, I've had a lot of fun playing Forza and Cuphead, and I know that I'm going to have even more fun in a few days once PUBG gets released because these are actual fun games with gameplay. Meanwhile, I haven't really touched my PS4 since Crash Bandicoot was released 6 months ago and my PS4 is just gathering dust until a new game (not one of those movie "games" that Cows love to watch, but a real game with a focus on gameplay) gets released that isn't some niche JRPG.

Currently on the X I'm playing Wildlands, perfect game to balance with Xenoblade 2.

If you have a PC that can play games its pretty much useless.

Go easy on them. There is only so many times that they can watch the weird, pretentious trailer for Death Stranding and think about how the full movie is going to be before they need to find something else to occupy their time. It's not like they can play PUBG this week to occupy their time. Have some pity for them.

I got into Wildlands this month. Man, that is a great game. So easy to get overrun if you don't work a strategy.

Xbone feels like the fourth wheel right now. Games you can play everywhere else. PUBG which lems keep bragging about has already sold 25 million on PC and it's coming to mobile and PS4 as well, platforms pretty much everyone owns.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA what multiplat looks better, runs better on PS4 than my X1X? That ship sailed , buddy. Xbox has that claim since Nov 7th.

The Xbox One X is the most powerful console on the market right now and there is no PS4 console that is better at playing multiplats than the Xbox One X, so that makes Xbox the best console for multiplats. It's even more so when you take into account it's superior online service and controller as well.

It's quite remarkable how obsessed cows are with anything Xbox related... you rarely see a thread created discussing something about PS4. It's always anti-Xbox. Hmmm.

I still prefer the X1 lineup to the PS4 lineup, regardless of what’s also on PC. Add to that my controller preference and most friends and family play on Xbox, and you have he reason why I own 3 Xbox Ones and 0 PS4s. Now if I to choose between PC, Xbox and Switch, the Xbox would be the first to go.

But these are facts, what does Xbox have to look forward to? The Switch, PS4 and PC are doing well and each have its place. The Xbox i can only think of is its fanboys buying it and people buying into this 4K hype train. I think in a couple years time the PS5 will be able to actually hit native 4k and with all its exclusives will be selling like crazy. What will MS do? Release another console so soon after? Nope, they're going to be in trouble.

Seems like the PS4 is so boring that some gamers have time to ponder systems they don't play.

Its a shame that monster hunter is coming out later on for PC and who know's hopefully RDR2 will come to PC also.

Also I am guessing your argument is leaning towards the X1X being the most powerful console but you fail to see is that there are no exclusive games for it, I would rather deal with the Pro over the X1X in order to play the Last of Us 2 than get a X1X and play that one game that isn't on PC but also is on a PS4. Sort of a no brainer if you have a PC to go with a PS4 or Nintendo console because it gives you more games than PC and X1.

Most Xbox owners don't care about resolution, the ones that do own a X. People that own a PC to play games do care about resolution, it must really suck to drop down to a PS4 to play a couple games.
