Xbox hopes you love old games, because BOY do they have a lot of them at their disposal. They don't need no stinking Halo, they're selling Xbox on love and gumption and loyalty... and some predatory financing will help too. New games are going to have to come second.

She said massive EXCLUSIVE titles, never said he doesn't want AAA games.

I remember this generation starting out pretty crap in terms of games as well, until Sony eventually rolled out their big guns and ran away with it.

Yeah, Microsoft does have a content problem, I just think it's way too early to make much of a big deal out of it.

sorry but sony is making next gen exclusives in 2021 more than one.

there is nothing in 2021 for the series x other than medium rest are cross gen games.

difference between no exclusives and having exclusives that your not interested in.

series x has no exclusives just what on the gamepass now other than a few that will come out on xbox one and series x around that time.

series x has no game that will use there power. just third party and first party cross gen games at launch.

Didn't work out so well this gen for them.

All they really had to offer was the Forza series and Sunset Overdrive. Oh and the Ori games are good.

Everything else either flopped (Halo 5, Gears 4, Gears 5, Quantum Break, Ryse, Recore) or came to other platforms (Cuphead, Super Lucky's Tale, PUBG, Dead Rising).

Do better, Microsoft.

How is All Access predatory? There is no interest rate and you actually pay less for the console and game pass then you would if you bought them separately

Does it matter if they are on Windows at launch? Consoles are sold at a loss, so if consumers provide their own hardware (in this case, a PC) then M$ still makes just as much as they would on game sales without having to take the loss of selling you a console.

The problem is the messenger always get the news wrong, try reading it again or have someone explain it for you!

Give it 6 months after launch and see what they're saying. If the system does well, but certain to hear their sales. If it does on the Xbone level, they will pretend sales don't matter.

Regardless if TC failed on his part, all I know is Sony/MS haven't let finalized their launch line up and we all know everyone wants AAA games, MS know this well.

To set the record straight. PS4 was running away with it from the start with the reveals. MS made just about every bad move in the book from price to power and media machine > games console blonder and that's the real story.

By the time both had noteworthy exclusives come out the race had long been decided. Just sayin. :P

I suppose Sony did have a lot more upcoming stuff to hype about, but hype is not a finished, playable product. Microsoft did make a lot of mistakes in their initial pitch, but did recover a bit since then.

Just saying, I see a lot of the same deal with this coming gen; lots of hype, not a whole lot of games, at least early on. I don't think the generation is going to be decided two months before the consoles launch.

thing is we are talking about console players getting the shaft from xbox. we don't need to sell you our console. fact is console gamers will buy the xbox at launch and should have games for that player to play that looks next gen like every launch next gen game in the past.

there is no reason why gamepass can't have next gen titles at launch that takes advantage of the most powerful console ever made. why do all of them need to play one xbox one?

fact is xbox is selling you a game subscription instead of a next gen console that plays next gen games.

Pretty much. It's easy to see they are indoctrinated to the Holy words of Almighty Sony, and if things are different from what Almighty Sony does, it's bad, mkay?

If they were to actually play both systems and compare them, they might find that using AA batteries is actually preferable to DS4's weak internal batteries that don't hold much of a charge.

With AA batteries you can play for a lot longer and never have to worry about those stupid cables.

maybe because you don't have to buy a new controller when your battery turns to shit. Maybe there are swappable batterypacks as well (which are way lighter than normal batteries)

well godfall is one game i want. which got a graphical update from the last time hey showed it.

thing is we don't know the release date for these games. fact is we do expect these games in 2020 or 2021.

so in 2020 ans 2021 we get these games that are not on xbox.

kena, godfall, ratchet and clank, demon souls, hzd2, returnal, deathloop, astro playroom(my first game im playing), bugsnax, sack boy, Destruction AllStars, GhostWire: Tokyo, miles, odd world, stray, grand 7

plus 2 big title games in 2021 they have not told us yet.

all these games are going the first year its out that will not be xbox. some are on pc but not xbox.

this does not include third party games that are on both systems. like ass creed ect.

thats is 18 games in its first year that is not on xbox.

I know that not every title is an exclusive but an exclusive AAA title is a massive exclusive is the point I'm making. Halo, TLoU, Mario, etc.

Do we often get AAA titles at launch? I mean, Infamous Second Son was launch window... I guess Shadow Fall would count in terms of the budget, even though the game was pretty poop.

we don't know exact release dates yet. same as xbox launch games. fact is even phil said no series x exclusive until 2022. the only one i see is medium. but nothing from there first party. all xbox console in past had something next gen in there line up from first party devs. gamepass is all they care about now. whats the point of the worlds strongest system if there just making cross gen games the first 2 years?

fact is if they bought these developers to late in the gen to have any thing ready for next gen. but once they do then yes xbox might have those great next gen titles gamers are looking for.

but until then xbox fans will be playing current gamepass games and third party next gen games.
