Depends on what your looking for.

PS3 does NOT have rumble and a huge library of games. Its graphics are "comparable" to the 360. It comes straight out the box with wifi ability and wireless controllers. PSN can be abit clunky at times but it works.

360 has a huge library of games and wireless controllers with rumble. If you want to go online your gonna need an ethernet cable or a $100 add on adapter. Xbox live is pretty slick and easy to navigate. The 360 hardware "can" be faulty so there is a chance you could get the red rings of death, however this is covered under warranty.

In short- PS3 has wireless capabilities out the box, not alot of games, no rumble.

360- huge library of games, going wireless "could" get expensive, controllers have rumble, hardware "could" fail at some point.

This is lemming central, asking here is asking for 360. Go look at upcomming gmaes, did you own a ps2? if you did and if you liked it, you´ll like the ps3.Eddie-Vedder

Excuse me? This site has fanboys of all consoles. I could name several cows that post here all the time. I owned a PS2 and I liked it, I own a PS3 and I am WAITING to really like it. I like the few games I have for it, but I expected and want more. Your comparison is shallow. This guy just needs to do his own research.

Your best bet would be to do some research on the franchises that you like. If you liked Halo, get a 360. If you like FF or MG, get a PS3.

I can't speak for the 360 but I LOVE my PS3. I just bought it so all the games are still new to me. I'm playing Resistance and Oblivion right now. That's going just fine and I won't even have the time to start Ninja Gaiden or Darkness or R6, though I may have to put Oblivion on hold for R6

Ofc their are fanboys from all consoles, but everyone know that most of SW is made up of americans and most americans are lemmings, just saying their are more xbox fans on this board then sony of ninty fans. And your right the ps3 isn´t anything especial right now, but people should think ahead when purchasing a console, seeing how the ps3 hasn´t launched 1 heavy hitter yet it´s a sign that´s there will be a lot of games on the way.

I have both the 360 and the ps3. Developers are more focussed on 360currently because now they exppect to sell 3 times as many games in the 360 format. The major differences I find are: Online community features are better on 360, gameplay and loading are faster and more seemless on ps3.

As expected, MS made better operating software,Sony made better consumer hardware.

You obviously were not around in 2000/2001 when this site was overrun with cows cows cows. 85% of the site was cows. They bashed every single system not Sony and Im expected to feel pity for them now? :shock:
