XBOX360 Whats That?

That´s most peoples response over here in europe when it comes to game consoles, it could have all the best games but ppl don´t give a crap, it´s like a gaming rule for this continent, your going to by a high end console their really isn´t any choice, it´s playstation or playstation, I know SO many ppl that want a ps3 so badly and they don´t even know what games it has, their just waiting for a price drop cause yes I know 600$ is expensive for the average joe. But the price will come down obviously and sales will rise.

I take most of system wars is made of americans so most of you really don´t know how strong the playstation brand is over here, for example, lems usually talk about how the xbox controller is better then the sixaxis, over here whenever I see someone commenting on having played a 360 they ALWAYS say the controller is crap if I had a playstation controller I would of kicked ass. It´s like sixth sense.

Then we have japan that is also really important, they are what I consider a "hardcore europe", they probably don´t even talk about the 360 it´s probably forbiden by law. So believe me guys the ps3 will never fail I´m sure in america it feels diferently but american sales matter only so much.

On the other hand, half my family lives in Europe, most of my cousins are gamers.

I have 5 of them (yeahhh... we have a big family) and of that, 3 of them have a 360, 2 have a Wii and even one of my uncles has a 360, while only one of them is LOOKING into buying a PS3.

I'm not against the Ps3, but I could spin that and say that everyone in Europe wants a 360....

I´m sorry I didn´t use facts and didn´t sound objective writing my post, this wasn't meant to be flamebait.

Anyway I can bet most of you flaiming me don´t live in europe, I´m not saying europeans don´t buy 360 cause it´s against the law and it makes u dumb, I´m talking about the general idea we have over here on what game console to buy. You think I´m flaiming fine I really don´t care.

I live here I know what I´m talking about, ofc there are a lot of ppl over here with the 360, the ps3 is still 600$ and the xbox has been out much longer and for a much better price, but that doesn´t change the fact that the playstation brand over here is much stronger, ofc it´s also due to good marketing, sony has the ps3 all over soccer games, their behind the champions league which must be the most watched thing in europe.

The way I see things:

I will never own a console just because it's the market leader, or just because it's the popular console.  As the TC said, people in Europe want a ps3 without even knowing any games for it....than why get it?  Because it's Sony?  Because of it's hype?  All that matters to me is what is in my living room.  I'd rather have the best all around console for the best all around price with great games, than an expensive system with games that people don't know about. 

I won't pay $600 just so that I can say I own a ps3.
