XBox360 will outsell the PS3 this holiday season

According to analysts the Xbox 360 will outsell the PS3 by ny 2:1.

its cheaper so yeah it prolly will... and the 10million spent marketing halo3 should help......

A $400 PS3 could really help. I doubt it though..they'll probably just lower the 80 to 500 and have like a 90 for 600 and completely ignore the "lower the price" cries from their loyal fans.

360: 3.5 Million

PS3: 2.5 Million (if no price drop), 3.0 million if Price drop

Wii: 6 million

Europe:

360: 2 million

PS3: 3 million

Wii: 4 Million

Japan:

360: 0.2 million

PS3: 1.2 million

Wii: 2.2 million

TOTAL:

360: 5.7 Million

PS3: 6.7 Million w/o price drop, 7.2 Million w/ price drop

Wii: 12.2 Million

It's possible. PS3 linenup is looking slimmer and slimmer. If there is no UT3 this holiday season, I think it would be a big blow, as that is a guaranteed AAA title. Don't know how many consoles Ratchet & Clank, Little Big Planet, Warhawk, Haze and Heavenly Sword can move when the competition is offering:

Halo 3, Mass Effect, PGR4, Bioshock, Ace Combat 4, Katamari

-and-

Metroid Prime 3, Galaxy, Brawl

respectively. It'll be a pretty tough sell, in my opinion. Even tougher if the PS3 has to do all of this without UT3 in their holiday library. UT3 could be a PS3 system-seller. Perhaps the only system-seller.

Has Nintendo solved their supply problems? If they haven't, or don't, before the holidays, they won't be able to increase sales by that much. Supposedly they are selling almost everything that they can manufacture.
