Which looks better?

xbox.com or playstation.com

In my opinion not only Xbox.com looks more attractive but it's more user friendly and what you do on there on your PC has an affect on your Xbox 360 console.

While Playstation.com just looks unattractive, uninspiring, unorganized, it really need alot of improvements.

Also I think with NXE, it just made XMB looks unattractive and unorganized aswell.

Your really rubbing it in. LoL....IMO xbox.com is better. I tried getting into playstations website....meh.

PS3 site looks better.  Coming from someone who owns a 360, doesn't own a PS3.

You said poll in your title, then didn't provide one. I think playstation.com looks better, because of the colours and the avatars ruining xbox.com.

Playstation site is way better, can't believe anybody would think otherwise. That lips crap on the front page is bad enough to bring it down completely, not including those lame ass kiddy avatars.

Playstation site, ive never been a big fan of the Xbox site, its too clutterd and hard to find things

I think xbox.com is more aesthetically pleasing but I still prefer the XMB over the NXE. Not only is it simple to use but the styling feels very modern and mature.

The Playstation.come website is suppose to undergo a transformation, it was on thier blog. PS Blog is what makes it so great~

Let's be a little more specific here.  On Xbox.com, you can:

  • View and share a link to your profile page
  • Manage your friends list
    • See which ones are online and what they're currently playing, or how long ago they were on
    • View your friends' achievements and games played
    • Add a friend
    • Remove
  • Manage your messages
    • Send
    • Read
  • Manage your account preferences, bio, motto, etc

 

That's a level of web 2.0 that Playstation.com isn't even close to achieving on their site.

The playstation underground (which used to be playstation.com) and the PSN just merged. So hey have the same functionality now

Xbox.com is way better. It's more aesthetically pleasing, and I think it's more user-friendly. I like it.

They're both extremely well designed, but Xbox.com takes the trophy due to integration with Live.

Nope. Can you show me how to send/receive messages from friends on Playstation.com? Heck, where can I see a list of my friends there? Where can I see my trophies and compare to my friends? Where can I see what games I've played?

The Xbox site is horrible. They don't even have the forums organized so you have to scroll through tons and tons and tons of subforums to post at the game you're interested in. The playstation boards are well organized and the mods are pretty active. I post at the playstation forums every once in a while.

Ps3 site looks a bit more classy, but the 360 site is a lot more pleasing to the eye and is WAY more user friendly.

honestly, i respect that..

i own a ps3, not a xbox..

anyways my opinions..

homepage, i like them the same

console page(liek tabbed of playstation 3 or psp) i like Sonys better.

i like xboxs game page, its a great idea!

i dont like thats theres no public forums from what i can see on xbox site yet i think palystaion forums look boring...

 

there both unique and different i like them both the same

Both sites are fairly similar layouts visually IMO, just different colour schemes. As far as stuff you can do on the site.. xbox by FAR. You can browser xbox live market place and add purchase things from the site, they will then download the next time you sign in on your xbox. The friend list features are also nice, but I believe the PS site will get that in the next update.. maybe?

I think these websites just shows how active the online community are. So when people compares PSN vs XBL you can also include the websites because it also shows which one works better, looks better and which one is more active.

So I clicked on Xbox.com and almost thought I went to Nintendo.com for a sec, because they have those Mii's plastered everywhere now.

I clicked on Playstation.com and it appears they are still showcasing the games that they have to offer on the front page.
