Lets see
Better controller
Better OS and UI (more features, more intuitive)
Better online infrastructure (Can't wait until the people bashing the capabilities of Azure get owned)
Money - more 3rd party exclusives, more DLC deals (Getting Ghosts AND Battlefield 4 DLC early is a pretty big deal)
Kinect is just another great addition, but even without it the XOne has more reasons to exist than the PS4.
The PS4 has the online functionality of the 360 (as LAST GEN console), its has less OS-based features than the XOne, less money (they probably blew their entire load on Destiny lmao) and well ... thats it really

Are those supposed to be huge selling points that outclass price and hardware?
We're talking about a mass market here, not your personal shopping.
The OS, yes. Things like the TV functionality, Skype etc. will pretty big selling points.
And yes, mass market also won't give a shit if the PS4s GPU is 43% better than the XOnes GPU (or whatever the hell the percentage is now  )
Price is the only issue, but the Xone being more expensive than the PS4 does not make its existance meaningless LOL think before you type.

Hardware doesn't matter? Never saw people asking the clerk "which is stronger?", or even the uninformed parents and grands asking "which has the better microprocessor?". These time clerks won't have the same dificult time answering that as they did this gen, it's a straight "it's the PS4 sir/madam".
Well, at least I always see people asking one another "which is the stronger" videogame.
Controllers, etc., those are too subjective to make whole system sales projections.
Price, hardware and games are more feasible variants.
Kinect and the TV functionality are as well, since they are selling points easy to market to the mass market. But the question I asked was, what's the point in a Kinectless X1 sku?
