Xenoblade developer working on a 3DS game.

More good news for 3DS owners.

Let's hope whatever the game is there are no localisation problems this time around.

"Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos developer Monolith Soft is seeking staff for a 3DS project. The studio has opened a recruitment page seeking staff to work on the project out of its newly formed Kyoto studio.

Positions include effect designers, motion designers and 3DCG designers. The 3DCG designers will work on character modeling and 3D map modeling. The effect designers will work on effects for map and battle scenes. The motion designers will work on motion for things like monsters and characters."

Any news of a Monolith game is good news.

I LOVE Baten Kaitos and Baten Kaitos origins. Cannot wait to buy Xenoblade day one. So naturally I am pretty hyped for whatever this is.

The more I think about it, I honestly wouldn't mind if they ported Xenoblade in 3D. With as huge and distant the environments are, I think it would look amazing with depth to truly emphasize the massive scale of the game.

Whilst for Vita we only got confirmation of COD release this fall.

I hope Nintendo gets into the habit of consitantly localising Monolith's games; we never got Soma Bringer and Xenoblade just barely made it. There's also Disaster Day of Crisis but I don't care much for that.

Not sure how big of a studio they are, but if they can work on two new games thats impressive, though part of me thinks that the 3DS game is a Xenoblade 3D port because I can't see them working on two huge projects at once.

That looks so much like Baten Kaitos, which would surprise me and make me so happy, though I guess it doesn't really matter, since it will be amazing either way.

I missed it too until someone brought it up in the 3DS forums, I seriously can't wait for their next game, Xenoblade pretty much ruined JRPG's for me because nothing has stacked up since.

Its good to hear some people know about the game and love it. I honestly cannot believe they didn't do better commercialy and critically.

I think they formed a new team last year, so it is very possible they are working on both the 3DS game and WiiU game at the same time.

This is by a new studio people so don't get your hopes up Xenoblade 2 on the 3DS. Why anyone would want that is beyond me anyway.
