We seen the leakd version on SW already, still xperia play is finally official.

I saw an ad for it, and all the ad said was that it was pretty much an Android phone for people with thumbs.

Isn't this supposed to play PSP games too? Or is it just limited to Android games?

I am personally very excited about the Xperia Play, My favourite games of all time are PSOne games (Spyro, FF, Crash etc.) so the oppurtunity to have everything i ever need in my pocket (phone, mp3 player, portable game system with access to my favourite games, facebook and twitter via timescape) is a dream...plus i am in need of a new phone :p

Now I'm really lost what should I get Galaxy S, Nexus S or Xperia play?

Meh the the max.

I don't see the point of this phone honestly. I have a smartphone for productivity, not a gaming device. If my phone has any sort of landscape slider functionality, I want it to have a keyboard, not gamepad. Not to mention Sony Erickson is absolutely terrible when it comes to pushing Android updates. But that could be said for any manufacturer that doesn't use stock android and has some crap overlay instead. I also don't expect this thing to have the best battery life, which is another downer. Just buy a PSPGo or PSP2, and a Nexus S for your Android needs.

I got the HTC EVO 4G its enough for me, i liked the commercial but really not intreasted in the phone. For my portable fix im waiting for the NGP.

I might get it if

1. Price is right (not more than iphone)

2. If the Android part runs well.

I would prefer a flipout game pad to a keyboard with the modern touch keyboard feature being around.

Not interested, as I just got my Captivate. It's not like we'd see it in Canada for another 10 years anyway :P
