I know that no one should pay any attention to game reviews, but everyone does. So, why question is, which reveiws do you guys give more credit to? Yeah....i know this is Gamespot, but with these 2 games, the reviews are like night and day.

I picked these 2 game because they kinda stood out.

i think that the 5 star system is better

even though Xplay is very bias

I'd give xplay credit for being able to review games while they are on drugs. They must be because they gave 2k8 a better score than the show w:ow

Gamespot tends to underrate everything and their reviews are often wierd and dont make sense

Its true, they actually somehow found MLB 2K8 better then MLB 08 The Show.

I'd give more credability to GS. X-Play now rates 2 games a show if even that and unlike GS, X-Play does not have reviews done by the general public. Another thing whith those 2 games per show that X-Play rates it's usually either an XBoX exclusive or the xbox version of the game. All those trying to defend X-Play's obvious bias listen up. When they rave about the XBOX online experience the full week after E3 and when it comes out, that's bias. When they ignore any Ps3 downloadable content that's bias. There is another list of really obvious things on that show. And for the record it's not people whining about games not being rated the way people want that makes X-Play Bias.

Another example to prove X-Play's Bias by the way. Watch a show called Reviews on the Run. Notice the NON BIAS REVIEWS, the inclusion of MULTIPLE SYSTEMS, and the stating of ALL PLATFORMS THE GAME THEIR REVIEWING IS ON instead of just pointing out that the game is on the 360.

Xplay sucks. Period. When you dock off marks for SupCom for having too much depth, then there's no reason on why I should still take them seriously.mo0ksi

As much as I respect The Sess, frankly, I hate X-Play's grading scale and their show has gone downhill ever since it became mainstream. As much as I complain about Gamespot's score (which is only naturally since you're not always going to 100% agree), I think they have a better grading scale and overall are more credible.Lionheart08

Anyway I gotta say I loved X-play right up until they got the new set. There's something about the reviews that they do now, what they say just doesn't reflect the score they give.

Its fine if you want to hear/read either opinion. The problem with fanboys(especially in these forums) is that they rely on these reviews to give them (the fanboys) their own opinion because they either do not have the means or the will to play the games they complain about or endorse.
