You vastly underestimate what being a gamer means. You think that just because I love FPS games and that I like Madden, I cannot complete SMG? Take your condescension somewhere else.
Casual gamers might find it hard, but to people who enjoy FPS games and are "regular" gamers, as you put it, it should not be that much of a stretch, as most of us "regular" gamers grew up with platformers and action games, as FPS games are relatively new to the scene.
For the record I wasn't trying to be "condescending" to the regular fps or Madden player. I'm just going by what I know and my personal experiences with friends I have. They play Madden and WW II shooters exclusively and when they see me play Mario platformers or Zelda games they tremble with fear and when they try to play them they get absolutely nowhere and don't have the skills or the patience requiredto do it.I've been playing games my whole life so Mario and Zelda and other games are not hard for me, but everyone else I've ever met in the real world can't play those games because they are too hardcore for them, but those same people love playing Madden, Brothers In Arms, Medal of Honor, Halo and GTA.
