Yakuza series coming to PC ... Persona next?

Looks like Sega is all on board with PC. They also announced Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be coming to PC as well. What do you think, SW? Is Persona series next?

I'd like to see all Yakuza games ported over.

Along with Phantasy Star.

I have Yakuza 3 on PS3 but it didn't quite click with me. I found out then that Yakuza 3 is one of the slower paced titles in the series, and I wanted to start the franchise from the beginning. I don't own a PS4 which meant that getting started with the franchise would be a little trickier. It's great now that these games are coming to PC. :)

I'm definitely picking up Yakuza 0 in August.

Persona and Shin Megami Tensei would be great on PC. Maybe do a remaster of Shin Megami Tensei IV and Persona 4.

Is that all 137 Yazuku games?

Sega actually promised Yakuza games for PC a few months ago. Thus, this is promise kept.

They also promised Persona in the same breath, so the answer to your question is: almost definitely.

@SolidGame_basic: Nope. I have been on the fence regarding buying one for years now. I'm in the current dilemma of; Do I get one now or do I wait and see if PS5 has backwards compatibility. There are a bunch of exclusive games on PS4 that I am curious to try.

I have a gaming PC, Xbox One, 3DS and Nintendo Switch. I pretty much never use the Xbox One.

I haven't got enough time to play the games I own and am currently interested in. Investing in a new platform to get even more games is another reason why I haven't really bothered buying one yet.

Neither has the Xbox, PC or Switch... We're all fucked!

If the new Catherine goes to PC then the possibility of Persona going is high, other way i don't see it, Atlus have kept their exclusive deals.

The Yakuza Games almost didn't come to the West at all. Thankfully Yakuza 0 was well received by critics and gamers and revitalized the series.

Even so, the Yakuza games typically sell in the hundreds of thousands or the low millions. So if releasing these GREAT games on PC helps SEGA to make more money and keep releasing these games, or similar games like Fist of the North Star, I'm all for it!

SEGA is on a roll though! I love what the company is doing.

I was just poking a little fun at the master race, who's supposedly head and shoulders above the peasants but want a peasant game. Glad you got the yakuza games though. I think ima pick up the first one later today.

Definitely grabbing both. Tried to get into Yakuza 3 last-gen, but kept going elsewhere to other games. Hyped to try them out.

With Yakuza on PC and the remasters i hope they translate Ishin and Kenzan and make ports of the Black Panther games.
