YES, Call of Duty W.A.W is Better Than C.O.D 4

Now forgetting that IGN.com already gave this game a 9.2 out of 10 which is great, i know what your going to say, believe me nobody is more surprised than me and no one is a bigger CoD 4 fan either, when i had a PS3 i was a 5 star general in CoD 4 and now with my 360 Elite i'm almost a full bird colonel in CoD 4.

However i've heard things in various forums and then i heard the same positives about CoD W.a.W at my local game store, and i mean they were praising this thing higher than CoD 4 and i was like no way is, yet another WW2 shooter better than CoD 4, so i had to see for myself and i so took a copy home and i just spent the last 4 hours playing the single player and i even tried out the multiplayer, and i proudly admit, it really is better, they took totally different approaches to the WW2 missions and left out that typical old D-Day and Normandy campaigns and they did a mix of American armies going after the japs and Russian going after the Nazis and it really kicks ass.

The enemy is much more intelligent and aggressive and the overall gameplay is the most violent and gory by far of the Call of Duty games.

Everyone who remotely loved Call of Duty 4 will worship this game.

EDIT: I have a question to those people who actually played CoD4 AND CoD5, will I miss out if I only play CoD5 and not experience CoD4?

Trust me they did this WW2 shooter very different then the others, it's not just the best Call of Duty game it's the best WW2 game ever. 

People underestimated Fallout 3 because Bethesda made one bad game called "Oblivion."

People underestimated Call of Duty: World at War because Treyarch made one bad game called "Call of Duty 3."

But then Fallout 3 and Call of Duty: World at War came out, and everybody loved them.

As the TC states, this game is nothing short of amazing.

I LOVE CoD4, but this game has such incredible production value. It feels very polished, and I am surprised to say that. The guns all feel different and the sound of the *PING* from the Garand ejecting its clip makes me smile from ear to ear.

Great job Treyarch, you have been redeemed!

Hope it's as good (if not better) than CoD 4; the online play on that game was awesome. However I am sick to death with World War games. I mean... they have been done to DEATH. It's time for something new like a Call of Duty game based on the Africas? British colonisation... or even set in the far future with lasers and stuff.... *drool*Zythyl

and treyarch aren bad devs either. they just get not even half as much time to develop a game as infinity ward does

Just for the record some of us absolutely love Oblivion, and those who don't either don't like RPG's or don't know how to play them.

I played the Beta for at least 15 game hours.  that game has SERIOUS issues.  not a lot of them...but the ones it has are serious.

IMO.

I have played COD WAW and anyone who dosent look at games the way that review websites tell them to look at games would realize this game is horrible

its only bad in they're eyes because it takes out all the cheating factors that used to be in the elder scrolls games, they dont like not being able to make a god character within 24 hours like they could on morrowind.

For the topic at hand WAW sux, and i was in the beta since day one its a bad ww2 skin for cod4 with problems every where treyarch never intends on fixing, the beta wasn't even a beta it was a demo.
