That's right folks. And this time it's a game that EVERYONE (including DS owners) was looking forward to. Final Fantasy Tactics (a port of a PS1 game) has been confirmed to be inferior to the PS1 version just like Valkyrie Profile. Oh well, i'm sure us PS2 owners who already own the original feel better about not buying a PSP. Along with the port of Syphon Filter this is yet another reason not to buy a PSP. so many psp games why go buy the crappy ones, and also why not buy the ps1 version of the game from ps3 and play it on your psp, than you won't feel like it's a bad port.
That is like saying Killzone flopped , no sense buying a ps2 now.Yeah but the PS2 has loads of other exclusives, and good ones to. The PSP has Jack and S**T. and Jack just left town .

Ouch, well anyway I'M gonna buy a psp just for the psx emulators and such, mainly because I want to play FFVII, IX, VIII, and FFT, my PSX favourites.Â

I'm just going to stick to the PS1 version fo atctics since it is clearly better. I'll eventually buy a PSP when it's 50 bucks and the games are about 10 (which shouldn't be too long now).[QUOTE="Nike_Air"]That is like saying Killzone flopped , no sense buying a ps2 now.Yeah but the PS2 has loads of other exclusives, and good ones to. Fixed.Â
The Slowdowns don't look too bad, but the sound is what i'm worried about. Hopefuly SE will fix the problems befor the NA release.
This is one of the best games ever dude.I dont care about Final Fanatsy 4 DS extreme Cash in edition. I care about Final Fantasy Tactics. This was supposed to be THE definitive version of the game, don't tell me you weren't excitied about this title. This was the game that i was going to rebuy a PSP forBecause Square didnt do this with other handhelds:roll:

Ports blow 99% of the time on any system. The PSP has some great sequels and prequels. I'm currently playing Syphon Filter, Killzone, and Ultamate GhostsN' Golblins They all rock. The PSP is my first Sony product and it's yet to disapoint me.jdc6305Syphon filter is coming to the PS2, No killzone game has ever interested me and Ghosts n Goblins looks AWESOME but it's not enough to convince me to rebuy the ssytm.

So you can take your PS2 on the road? Play them while in a cab, or in a waiting room, or on a plane?
Maybe you're not really looking for a portable systemÂ

Why are you thinking that the PSP is supposed to replace the PS2? I have both and use both with no real confilict.
The difference is that I can enjoy games at home, AND bring them with me. How is that a bad thing?Â
Because you paid more to play the same games you already had access to (for the most part) or gimped versions of beloved franchises on hardware so poor that every gamer out there has been praying for a redesign for the system since it launched. The PSP is the first Playstation i have ever owned that i was not completely satisfied with and the first playstation that can be classed as a failure, and i am going to bee VERY upset if it leaads to the PS3 being overlooked by gamers

Shouldnt have got your hopes that high then. I wasnt excited (honestly); Square has been dissapointing recently, and I definitely wasnt hyped for a PSP port like this. In January I saw FFT PS1 in Walmart for $15 and snatched it up immediately. I played it for one hour and wasnt impressed. (check my journal) It's been in my closet for the past 5 months, I plan on selling it years later when it's actually worth something.
