No, cause Microsoft is actually original.Legendaryscmt
Yeah, their whole ABXY setup is SO original!
Old. I saw that pic more than a year ago.
Plus, M$ doesn't want to ruin games so there won't be that controller for the next Xbox.

u do realise Nintendo wasnt the first company to make motion sensored controllers? Both microsoft and sony have done it before
Nintendo was the first to do it right. And they were the first ones to put it in remote form.
I GUARANTEE that the PS4 and Xbox 720 will have remotes.

Maybe so, but Nintendo's the first company to use one to real success. I agree with the TC. Next gen, all systems will have motion-sensing.

Is that why they forced Epic to charge for DLC?

ye but i mean im just proving him wrong hes acting like it hasnt been done before. Im not too sure about the Motion sensing thing for all next gen consoles it could happen like it did with rumble but Nintendo have sold more consoles then they have software
motion sensing wont last past this gen, its a stupid gimmick and always has beenwarmaster670
If you can give yourself one good, honest reason as to why they won't implement it, I'd love to hear it. But as it stands, you can bet your ass that MS and Sony are losing a lot of sleep over this so called "gimmick" blasting past them in sales. There's not a damn thing either of them wouldn't do to trade places with Nintendo right now.
Damn. I hope this never happens.
If the xbox 3 will have a REMOTE,then I wont buy it.
Guess Pc will be the way to go then, or just a plain old suicide.

Nah. You'll say that until you get it in your hands and actually play it. Hell, if you played Metroid, you'd be wishing you could play Halo in the same fashion.
The only reason hardcores hate it is because they have this preconcieved notion that it's horrible. Then they go on to cite something like Wii Play to try to prove their point, all the while ignoring titles like RE4 or Metroid that do a good job implementing these new controls.
no its going to be much better idea then the wiimote.ginglejangle

yeah well re4 is less immersive when you have a big stupid reticle on the screen rather than a lazer sight, i still like the gc version more than wii
With the success of the Wii's controls you can bet both MSFT and Sony will put a lot of time into researching how to use motion controls effectively. Especially Sony with that SIXAXIS joke.cametall
Hell I think in the next couple of months Sony will completely revamp their control setup, besides bringing rumble back.
The 360 controller is perfect in my opinion.

It's a glimpse into the future. I guarantee the PS4 will have something very similar.
motion sensing wont last past this gen, its a stupid gimmick and always has beenwarmaster670People said that about anaolg sticks and rumble. You can bet it will be featured in some fashion in all next gen consoles.
I don't want to...I want to be able to play my serious games on a gamepad...maybe some gimmicky ones on the Wiimote. cecx
Then you might as well quit gaming.
I have some choice words for you (expletives actually) but I don't feel like another suspension.
Basically, fie on you.
If this is true I wonder how the new fighting games will work? :) Button mashing will have an whole new meaning!Nerkcon
People smashing?
Not many ways developers can think of to implement motion into fighters.

With simple gestures like these you'll quickly discover how intuitive it is to throw fireballs, teleport, and shoot lasers.

but nintendo brought it mainstream just like the rumble, 360 analogue stick, and D pad.

That picture is photoshopped. Nice try and fail sheep! And I GUARANTEE the next Sony and MS systems WON'T HAVE REMOTES! If they do, they die right out the gate!

My uncle bought it just because it was Mortal Kombat. He tried using the Wiimote for a while with MK: A but found using a Gamecube controller to be much more efficient. I tried it myself and found pulling off semi-circlespecials to be very difficult among other things such as quickly doing a second special after using another one.

You know it!
Oh wait..
Holy crap, lol MS copied Dell, no wonder why the 360 has problems :lol:I think all controllers in the future will have pointers. Motion sensing is the gimmick. It is not an improvement. It is just an interesting piece of technology. I like it, but I wouldn't miss it too much either.
The pointer is a huge deal. All console controllers will copy it, as it allows a rough approximation of a mouse only used more like a controller so you can use it with a tv much easier (dare I say more casually). I think nintendo has come up with the basic design. All controllers in future will be split into two, one with the pointer and the other for directional control and a bunch of other buttons.

I was dubious about the control scheme I admit. I'm just not sure how developers can support more complex or technical control schemes on the Wii remote when accuracy and speed are required. Hopefully it will be like NG DS and somebody will manage but I really don't know.

I know it's photshopped. I'm not stupid. Unlike some of us...
I'm just saying that it's pretty much guaranteed that the PS4 controller will look like that.
