i wont be buying a ps3 for MGs4, i will probably not even buy one, definitely not anytime soon, i dont see that many Exclusives that interest me, and the multiplats are usually better on the 360, and Xbox Live > all other consoles online.
That was by far one of the most impressive demos I've ever seen, I planned to get a PS3 before MGS4 came out anyways, but now I feel a real sense of urgency, I can't freaking wait for that game!

why in the heavens would i pay 600 dollars to play thru a 15 hour game in which the ending i already know of??? plus 100 hours of cutscenes that has no revelance to me
lol, I love how no one even cared about MGS before MGS4 was the most promising game on the PS3. "Uh oh! We lost GTA!" "Now what?" "METAL GEAR SOLID 4! *throws money at Kojima* MAKE ANYTHING AT ALL AND WE WILL WORSHIP THE GROUND YOU WALK ON!" Seriously. Metal Gear Solid was my one outlet away from mindless fanboys. I would play MGS while everyone else would play GTA or God of War or whatever actiony guy game.

Yeah, just like I bought a PS2 for MGS2 & both versions of MGS3...Oh wait, I still don't have a PS2...Don't hold your breath ;)
umm... okay too bad MGS4 isnt even a system seller. Most 360 owners had PS2s last gen... I did and I though MGS was increidlble boring series. The total sales vs system sales for ps2 clearly show the lack of attachment rate. Why would this change? Its no Halo.

MGS happens to be a fairly niche series. Each sequel has sold less and less. It's not as coveted as the diehard fans may think. I've been playing video games for twenty years, and I haven't been compelled to finish a single game. Not after the MGS2 fiasco.

It may not have the sales of Halo , but Im sure it will be a SO MUCH BETTER GAME THAN HALO 3 .
