No, that doesn't matter, it came from the same studio, what I'm trying to say is that developers learn from past mistakes, they make better games, etc. Guerilla Games is working closely with Sony on this Killzone and was said that they werent releasing anything on Killzone until they were satisfied with it.

If you mean by achieving the CGI graphics shown at E3? Then, no, it won't. If you mean a commercial and critical success, well, maybe. They absolutely have to change the generic feeling of KZ1, othewise, KZ2 will have the same fate as KZ1. It is possible, but don't count on it. ;)

I'm not saying that it will meet the CGI of E305 even though PSM covered it and went over several points that it was just below the trailer. I believe the overall game will be a success.

So was Killzone, highly underated, the original game had a lot of potential, it definately needed a lot of help, Liberation was a good game, so compare GG to Santa Monica studios here, Kinetica = average, God of War = Superb Game    Killzone 1 = Average    Liberation = Good Game  they're on their way up there

i'm with you on the killzone thing. Maybe i'm just optimistic, but I think they can really do it. If they ps2 had been a little more powerful, maybe the A.I. and Framerate would have been better. The ps3 seems to have plenty in the power department...so...it should be good right?jack_russel

 Im going to laugh when killzone 2 is a better looking rip off of Gears.. haha... but i dunno... Killzone sucked.. im hoping that this one does good.

Halo was the good shooter on Xbox, PS2 fans wanted a better game, and then chose Killzone and labeled it 'Halo Killer' it was stupid..

Well according to this article and comparison the GDC video was very close to the CGI trailer.
