You can't make fun of any Wii game and still dislike the system...

...because if you do then it will get another game announcement the following week.

This weeks announcement is Kizuna. Could somebody help me and remind me what last weeks game announcement was called? There where some magazine scans on this forum and it looked quite good.

Yeah,it probably will be. GTA games are dated enough on the PSP,imagine what it'll be like on the DS.

TC, the reason the Wii gets so much flak is because of NINTENDO. They aren't delivering for the rest of the year...or at least, that's how many gamers feel.

It's nice that there are some 3rd party prospects that excite you and others, but it's not enough to change the tide that NINTENDO controls. They set the pace, and their decisions will echo for years. 3rd parties will follow their lead, not the other way around.

Anyways TC, I really don't follow the topic's name. :| But I don't think you can tell me what to like or dislike. For the moment, I do dislike my Wii, hell the only game I play, I lent to my cousins (SSBB) and haven't even felt like getting it back yet. I'm disappointed in how Nintendo is handling the Wii's gaming supply at the moment. Even if it gets a new announcement, it's hardly worthwhile, or worth bothering getting excited for, as rigth now there's little out to be excited about. What's the point of more news when these games won't be touching the Wii till maybe the end of this year if we are really lucky, or next year? :|

The problem with Kizuna is from what we've seen,it looks completely unimaginative. Ripping off Shadow of the Collosus and Okami at the same time.

The problem with Kizuna is from what we've seen,it looks completely unimaginative. Ripping off Shadow of the Collosus and Okami at the same time.

Im not a fan of cell shading either, i think its just lazy. The only times i enjoyed it were in okami and windwaker, but other than that it seems more like an easy way out so they dont have to figure out how to push the wii's hardware

Shadow of the Colossus was a great game. They're just disappointed to see a game take influence from it that's not on Playstation so they hammer into it which is disrespectful to SotC. They should celebrate the fact that games are taking influence from it. That would be more respectful to SotC IMO.

In other words, they should see it as a good thing that developers are taking influence from it. In slandering the game for it's similarities they're acting as though being like SotC is a bad thing.

We have no way of knowing yet. The reason I think it will be inferior is because Shadow of the Collosus is a very hard game to top,and this game doesn't look all that great.

I couldn't imagine fighting smaller enemies in SotC,it would be boring,looks the same here.

it's called shovelware. the wii is bound to have it since it sells the most.
