I actually do agree with the topic creator. I wasnt impressed with msofts conference and neither was anyone else really. With this killzone event being a huge success sony already has a great start to the show.

It's been a crazy couple of days, that I can say. It seems cows are out for blood tonight lol, and lemmings are are getting their shields and silver daggers.
But in all seriousness, Microsoft has just abysmal showing this past week. Fist by confirming all the broken 360's, and at the very least try to recrify the problem,(which they would have almost been forced to do anyway). And then Halo 3 graphics stirred some debate (however I thought they were fine), and then well... yesterdays E3 showing was less then steller.
For me always hating Sony and hating everything they do im glad they are sending out good games for once. Heavenly sword, KZ2, Ratchet and clank. Im glad I decided to get a PS3 in a few days. Put I planned on getting it only for watching movies.
Halo 3, Mass Efect, Bioshock, Lost Odyssey, Ace Combat 6, Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata will be hard to beat. What could Sony have that they haven't already shown besides God of War 3? It's not as if 3rd parties will be jumping to make games for the system the way sales have been. The Wii on the other hand may have some very big announcements...

More closed environments and less on-screen can do that. Personally, I'd rather have something like KZ2 where I don't fall asleep.
Whats so good about Killzone?Itless its alot better than the ps2 average game then why does everyone keep on about it. Ive got the PS2 version, I picked it up in a bargin bin in gamestation, ive found the case makes a good doorstop though, so not all was lost.
what some hardcorelemmings aren't accepting is the fact that microsofts conference didnt really do much. I am seeing lemmings that are letdown though. The 360 is a great machine and is definitely still a step ahead of the ps3(only really because of the year headstart), but they haven't shown enough to keep hold of their title. SOny howeever have hinted here, built up hype there; delievered with killzone as much as sony fans needed. And they haven't even started their conference. The whole amazon thing was quite telling; it kinda showedwhat alot of people we're just waiting for. I know its not a general consensus butamazon is a huge retailer.
think about all these threads and what most people are talking about even if they are criticizing killzone they're spending more time doing that then praising 360 titles; which is ultimately bad for microsoft. if only they had confirmed mgs4 on 360...lol if the ps3 sales go nuts around christmas because of a price drop or something microsoft are fu***d

Killzone = bad Killzone Liberations = good game Killzone 2 = amazing graphics, fast paced ...
The reason Killzone 2 is being hyped is becuase the game has far better graphics and the gameplay is much better than the original ... music and online improvments are huge aswell ... in the end the game will score over 8.0 ... possibly 9.0+

Im sorry, I have been a huge backer of the XBOX and XBOX 360 but as an owner of all 3 consoles, I have to say that I cant help but feel that MS is getting a littletoo overconfident! I mean honestly, the best looking games MS showed were both both multiplats...Resident Evil 5 and CoD 4! I was floored by CoD 4. That game is the new benchmark in gaming visuals Imo this side of Crysis!
I mean seriously? Where was the big price drop to one up Sony? Where was anything from RARE? What about all of this talk about MGS 4 being on 360? Then we got Halo 3! Imo, CoD 4, Killzone 2 and RE 5 all upstaged Halo 3 and I am now even more convinecd that Bungie has gotten lazy! I saw nothing new and exciting in the Halo 3 gameplay. It looks like Halo 2 in HD!! Sorry MS and Bungie, NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!
