I would say that's true if you could experience love and start the foundations of a family together with an XBOX 360, but sadly that cannot be done. There are things in life that are even more valuable than video games believe it or not.
I've never seen a console that wants to talk about "our" feelings, or want me to tell it it doesn't look fat in a dress. When I'm done playing with a console it doesn't whine that it wants to be held.
