I cant wait for Namco's Tales Announcements at E3, there is a rumor going around by IGN that they will announce Tales of Symphonia 2

and ToS was better than FFX

The Tales series is pretty awesome, true, but personally I prefer the Shin Megami Tensei series. Both beat the heck out of most FF games IMO, at least in terms of gameplay elements.

You don't do that in the Tales series it all real time. And TC were is Tales Of Eternia, the 2nd best Tales gameme thinks.

Hmm, I were not a fan of FF-games before FF12. That games had a really fun battle-system, even if it was kinda turnbased it was still real-time.

I like Tales of.. games too, but I think Abyss had a boring story so I'm gonna stay away from those games until they get a really good review.

Someone please explain the fascination with SMRPG. I mean, it was pretty good, but it was way too short, way too easy, and way too shallow. If you include Paper Mario into the mix, it's a better series, but against the heavy-hitters? Nah.

Final Fantasy has the longevity, the sales, the scores, and the fanbase. It is by all merits the best JRPG series out there. A Final Fantasy game may not be the best JRPG game out there but it is definately the best JRPG series.Blackbond

Its still the best SERIES out there. Although the FF games are few amongst my favorite RPGS out there.

Chrono having 2 makes it a series. Trigger's terrible sequel Cross has a 10/10 so that makes Trigger sitting at around 12/10, Chrono wins.MrGrimFandango

Two games or Twelve games. You take your pick. Even though Chrono Trigger is better then all FF's and tied with FFVI in my books.
