You Know Wii fanboys were drooling after E3's showed us Fallout 3 gameplay.

Please be honest and admit it, that game looks incredible and once again it's a vast and enormous open ended, open world game with nearly endless possibilities for the gamer, but the Wii boys will never see it and you know why "Hardware Restricitions " .

I'm not bashing either i'm just stating a fact here comes yet another huge title in scope and scale sure to be every bit as big as Oblivion or Metal Gear and Nintendo fans will not be able to have it because of the Wii's obsolete hardware, so again as with previous game releases i ask.

When do you give in and trade up ?

Not that I care about Fallout 3 either, but Mad World gives me a headache when I stare at it, it doesn't come off so much as artistic but irritating to look at.

Fallout 3 seems so far, to be a less interesting Oblivion with guns, I wasn't impressed graphically, or by the gameplay.

I can just get it on PC which will be the superior version.

if anything i'd get it for pc [and thats goes for anything else available on pc]

& tbh it seriously just looks like oblivion with guns [tho set in a nuclear environment of course] and oblivion was horrible, so until it proves itself otherwise, i wont be getting it

It's pretty hard for me to be excited for Fallout 3 when I hated The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, when it resembles BioShock (Another game I hated.), and when an entire gang of hermits have convinced me that it's merely "Oblivion with guns".

Considering that Oblivion was absolutely and utterly unplayable without mods.

And even when modded to the point of remaking the entire infrastructure of the game, it's still unbearable.

incredible weapons: what? Oh, please, even if there were anything shown of any value yet, Borderlands would immediately stamp it out

endless post apocalyptic world that will take months to explore: when I play Oblivion, I wander through endless forests with the same drab pallette and the same textures with the same monsters and the same dungeons with slightly different names and slightly different randomized loot.

And a word about the dialogue in Oblivion: 2 voice actors for the whole game=fail.

I wasn't very impressed by the Fallout 3 footage.I haven't played the first two Fallout games yet,but they look much more appealing than Fallout 3.

If it's not getting developer mod support I won't buy it (and if it does, I'll be getting the PC version). The vanilla game doesn't look so great.Saturos3091

you find a lot of things sad.. maybe if you actually stopped playing games that only have blood and exploding bodies you would stop being so sad and maybe you would learn to appreciate games for what they are and not what they look like.

I'm more of a manticore but if you ask me the game looks so boring. A desolate wasteland where you meet 1 - 2 guys every three minutes and you don't even get to shoot them, the computer does it for you with that damned aiming system.

Are you seriously arguing a game like Zelda against fallout 3 ?, did you even see the gameplay footage from E3 ? it's all revolutionary, from using various types of debris to construct your own weapons or use as ammo, to being able to pin point a specific section of the body or armor and blow it away with a c4 type impact, to the 50's looking green digital wrist menu interface to access, construct and level up weapons, attributes and armor, to finding and acquiring small villages with resources to use to form your own base of operations or reintegrating it to a new society, while returning for supplies and shelter as you need them.

The possibilities are endless, but i guess a guy who compares Zelda to Fallout 3 has about as much knowledge about games as either a 6 month old child or an 90 year adult.

as good as fallout 3 may look its not one of the games im looking foward to playing. I have played plenty of big open world rpgs and I tend to get pretty bored with them quick tbh, the last one I truly enjoyed was Gothic 2 and that was a great game.Mitazaki
