Blizzard -- I haven't liked anything from them since TBC, though SC2's competitive scene is starting to grow more interesting lately. Doesn't mean I actually want to play it like I used to when I bought it, it's just fun to watch sometimes (go Grack!!!). Valve has been manhandling TF2 which annoys me greatly and I stopped playing it, but portal 2 was amusing and I think they have a large future ahead of them if they ever crank out Half-Life 3. And yeah, Steam is great with the sales.
Clearly Blizzard, as the employees could go to do other exciting things with new IPs (gasp!) Valve is more important as a whole to the PC gaming market.
Valve, valve, valve, Look at my sig/avatar, who do you think I'd kill? Plus, Valve games don't offer the replay value, not nearly the level of Blizz. (don't like CS, and portal/hl have juts been one time play throughs for me)
Blizzard of course, I enjoy their games but without Steam AND DOTA 2? I don't think I could go on in life. :Ptagyhag
Without Blizzard there would probably be no Dota2 too :)
I cant really decide, those 2 are the very best devs on the world... but if I had to, I would have to kill Valve because I cant imagine gaming world without Starcraft... What would all the Koreans do? :shock:
Well...we still have the original DotA if we kill Valve...and I can't imagine my life without SC2 and watcing e-sports and pro gamer streams all day long...so, RIP Valve.
Personally I'd say Valve as much as I love them and Steam I can't say that it's impossible somebody wouldn't have picked up the torch if they didn't grab it first. Hell maybe Blizzard would have started a "Steam" like system they do currently sell all of their games through DD as it is. But I enjoy Blizzard games a bit more than Valve, but both of them are awesome developers.

Valve already bought the IP, so yes DOTA 2 would still be here if Blizzard died. :P
Blizzard. I don't care about most of their games. Diablo 2 was cool when I was like 11 and Starcraft was a good RTS back in the day, but they just don't have many games that I care about anymore, if any. Whatever happened to Starcraft Ghost and where the hell is Diablo 3? Valve on the other hand... Half-Life series, Counterstrike, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Steam... they're all epic win.
