First of all, Qore is not PSN Gold or anything like that. It is a service of PlayStation Network. What is it? It's an interactive magazine that has an issue released every month for the price of $2.99 or $24.99 for a yearly subscription. What will you be getting in Qore?
Well, first, let's start with videos. You will get Veronica Belmont hosting the show. There will be videos where PSN interviews a studio like Slant Six to get EXCLUSIVE info. Literally talk to the devs to get info not on the web. They can get exclusive gameplay footage that's not found anywhere. They won't be getting videos from GS or IGN or anything like that. It's like getting OPM, but it's more interactive.
Also, notice how at times, when you get a magazine, you get a disc with a demo in it? Well, the same thing would happen on Qore. There's a download center. There would be a demo there. This would be a pre-release build. Very early. That means that if it were a multiplatform game, it wouldn't even release on XBL. Think of it as an E3 build. It doesn't mean that Sony will delay demos for the PS Store. They will not do anything like that. Remember, Qore updates once a month. It's not going to replace PSN, because it's a service in it.
With the beta, Qore gives access to certain betas, like the Public SOCOM beta. Other ways to access this beta would be pre-ordering (info coming soon on that on SOCOM.com), or signing up. Qore just gives you some extras. Also, if you get a yearly subscription, you will have a free copy of Calling all Cars. Really, it's a great deal. Some will ike it, some won't. It's an interactive magazine, it's not like a brother/sister of PSN. It's a part of PSN. It will never take over PSN in terms of download. It will provide EXCLUSIVE info and demos that would be at an early build. Also, those saying Inside XBOX updates every 2 days, the PSN Message Board is used as a means of news update. That's what it's there for. Qore will not feature the same news, it will, like I said, feature exclusive footage, etc.
Clear enough? People shouldn't think this is a PSN Gold or something. It's an interactive magazine with extras that are early. No demos will be delayed, and remember, the download center is updated once a month since that's how issues are updates. That should end all this crap about PSN Gold and Silver.
