You thought Zelda and Crackdown were werid reveiws?

Hence, why you cannot trust gamespot alone. Or really, any source alone.

Mario Kart 64 at least had some reveiws like gamespots...with AOE people were giving it 100% and gamespot gave it 68%

GS is weird that way. 95% of the time, their reviews are authoritative, objective and precise.  Well, they're always objective...

Anyway, then there are these times where a game receives just an off-the-wall review.  THPS2 getting a perfect 10, that AOE review, or something else like it.

In a way it's admirable, if you think about it - they don't pay attention to general consensus when reviewing a game, they just put it in the disc slot, play the hell out of it, then review. 

In the end, that stuff isn't important.  If you want to play Zelda, you're going to play Zelda.  If you want to play Crackdown, you're going to play Crackdown.

I didn't find the review for crackdown weird, it actually deserved lower considering the graphics look like something that was done on a N64.XenoNinja
