You wanted third-party confirmation of PS3?

Here it is. Silent Hill 5 could be a PS3 exclusive. The reasons why are just absolutely vicious.

No its not cuz if ps3 sales continue to do bad we'll be seeing a 360 version too. 

It says it all depends on the sales if the ps3 does sell well it will stay if not it will go to the 360.

I played silent hill 2,3 I'm looking for 4 either for the xbox or ps2 but it is no where in the uk.

Blu Ray is required.

Yeah, it would be a great selling point to have another superior game that can't be emulated on another console. As according to the developer cited above. Blu Ray, Cell.

No. What this article is saying is that it could be a PS3 exclusive...it was never confirmed one way or another. What this also means is that the PS3 is superior according to the Silent Hill 5 developer.

We are starting to see this from third party devs who are finally getting a hang on the ps3 hardware, that it is a more flexible console and has limits but gives more limits to the dev then xbox 360 can ever do if devs decide to take advantage of the ps3. I think both xbox 360 and ps3 are great consoles but I also do think that the ps3 gives devs more freedom and isnt as limited as the xbox 360.

how is it going to be exclusive, do you think that there will be some major spike in ps3 sales this year?

Arent they supposed to be doubling 360 sales right now?....esp. since the previous system was selling lkike crazy in the same time period...

Even if it does go to another system, he clearly says that the ps3 is the only console that doesnt limit there ideas, so that statement alone shows the ps3 can do more then the xbox 360, of course u wont see that in most third party games since they have to make the game so it also fits the xbox 360, and we have seen why they make games on the xbox 360 first because if they started on the ps3 version they prolly would have to start using 2 dvd9's for the xbox 360 version.

But for its reputaion it sucks...It was selling faster than the 360( in the same time period not as of now...).....it's been downhill...according to vgcharts( a site I dont trust but many cows use) it's now match with the 360...which could in the next couple of weeks if the ps3 keep declining in sales.

you also have to remeber the shortages that the 360 had, not the same case with the ps3 which you can find everywhere now a days
