Your Biggest Disappointment of 2010

AVP I suppose. That was the one FPS this year that seemed to actually differentiate it's self from the generic garbage, but alas... it scored a 5.5. I definitly was not happy about that. I might still buy it though when it's really cheap.

The first two Marine levels were great, but the game fell apart from there. It's still better than watching either AVP movie though.

THIS. it got really, really boring. hunting? horseback riding? bleh. i can't tell you how many times i encountered a guy/girl being mauled by wolves. where were those 200 random events?

also, GT5 delay. :(

GTA with horses.

alien vs predator.. horrible campaign (besides the first couple of human missions) and a screwed up multiplayer system..very rare to find games (that ARE NOT american) which is bad for us non american folk!! and i was excited for this title as i heard great things about the pc ones...and because im a huge alien AND predator fan.... BLEGGHH!!campzor

Believe it or not but I had alot of fun with it's multiplayer demo. The gameplay seemed to work surprisingly well for only scoring a 5.5. It was somewhat clunky at times but it never felt broken.

I did not know that. Now that I think about it I DO remember shooting Edward in the face somewhere in act 3. Maybe that's why it scored a 9 :lol:

AVP and alpha protcol. AVP need longer SP. THe pred and alien ones were just to short. Besides that I really enjoyed the game. Alpha protocol just needed more time in the oven. Its a good game but the tec issues hurt it. I dont hate these 2 games infact I really like them. Im just dissapointed in the fact that they could have been more awesome if they had more work done but sadly that is not the case.

I expected more from Fable III's reception.

Lost Planet 2 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II as well.

My biggest disappointment... Toss up between Assassin's creed 2, God Of War 3, or Metoid:Other M.

AC2- Was just as craptastic as the first, fantastic idea and concept, incredible generic everything else. Very crappy series.

GoW3- It was just WAY too short. I beat that game in 5 hours and I didn't even rush the darn thing. It has terrible re-play value as well.

Metroid: Other M- Im a hardcore Metroid fan, and though I greatly enjoyed this game. I would be kidding myselfif I didn't say I was disappointed. The length was good, but a lot of the game felt incredible un-polished and messy. Its very un-Nintendo like since their main franchises are usually the pinnacle of perfect.

Probably Medal of Honor. I enjoy that series and really thought they could have made it something special. What a soulless excuse for a game.

The only thing I can think of is Sonic the Hedgehog 4.OreoMilkshake

Mass Effect 2 by far. I got it a day or 2 early and I played through the first Mass Effect 6+ times so was fairly excited for ME2. The second I looked at the tiny upgrade menu I was disappointed and the entire game felt just like a third person shooter with dialogue trees. I can't even force myself to play it a second time. I'm not falling for that crap again with Dragon Age 2.

I don't know if it's in the spirit of the thread, since it actually released in '09, but the most disappointing game I played this year was Dragon Age: Origins.

Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing NDS, because when i bought this game, i played, it became like an old school game.

Also this year of racing games isn't as good as 2008 racing games.
