Well I find MGS4 to be the better game over all in terms of quality. It's simply the perfect game. I just had slightly more fun with RE4.

Super Mario World or Yoshi's Island I would say.

The first Metal Gear Solid game, the best story in a video game ever.

Unreal Tournament followed closely by UT2K4. It's a damn shame the franchise is dead now. UT3 added nothing new except terrible art direction.
